Mission/Vision Statement
Mission Statement
- Where amidst joyful, exuberant and heartfelt praise and worship of God,
- Jesus is exalted as Lord
- and God's presence, glory and anointing, are sincerely sought, truly expected, and freely experienced, to include any and all of the charisms and manifestations of the Holy Spirit.
- Where people experience spiritual refreshment, love, and mercy;
- Where people witness to the power and love of God, where lives are changed, hearts converted, hope restored, mercy received and healing experienced;
- Where we are moved to a greater surrender to the Lord and to a greater desire for holiness, and are committed to daily prayer and scripture reading;
- Where ALL are lovingly invited and welcomed in the spirit of ecumenism;
- And where all that is taught and preached is in accord with Roman Catholic doctrine.
Vision Statement
- To have each person pray daily:
- for a New Pentecost, a new springtime of God's grace.
- that the Holy Spirit may place in our path those people whom God is calling to the meeting, and then to invite them. The Lord calls us to put special emphasis on inviting those who need healing (spiritual, emotional, physical), those who are brokenhearted, and those who are searching for “more.”
- To have each person committed to spend time each day in personal prayer and Scripture reading.
- To be a major center for Catholic Charismatic Praise and Worship in Colorado Springs, and to be a resource for other parishes in the area of Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
- To consistently, imaginatively and energetically invite people to the meeting in a variety of ways, throughout Colorado
