INSPIRED WORD

November 9, 2005

SCRIPTURE / PRAYER

Psalm 97:4-6: “ His lightnings light up the world, the earth sees and trembles. The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all the people behold His glory.” Yes, Lord, we want to behold Your glory. You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We come here to worship You because we love You, Lord. We love you, Lord! We want to see Your glory and be changed by that very glory that comes. We love you, Lord.

TEACHING / PRAYER

When Jesus made His entrance into Jerusalem, He sent the disciples ahead to go get the donkey. They brought it back and He rode into Jerusalem. The people began to praise, saying, “Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord!” Remember how some of the Pharisees were very upset about this and they told Jesus to tell His disciples to stop. Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, if they do not express this praise, then the rocks will cry out in their place.” (Luke 19:36-40) So tonight, God, we don't want to let the rocks cry out the praises of the Lord God; we want to be the ones who are declaring Your glory. Lord, creation is groaning and waiting to see the glory of the Lord. God, we stand with that ensemble. Lord, we ask You tonight to reveal Your glory; reveal Your Presence; reveal Your face, God. Lord, that we would be able to join in with that song of creation that says, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty.” Father, we ask You tonight to give us the garment of praise. We lay down any barriers right now and we ask You, Lord, to come, so that we can fill this place with Your praises.

CONFIRMATION / EXHORTATION

I want to confirm what Ruth just spoke about the garment of praise, because the thought that was with me is this: You know we have had that teaching about climbing and we are in the Praise section of that mountain right now and if you are getting tired and you can't go any higher because your feet hurt, take off your shoes. Take them off right now so that your feet will feel better. If the backpack is too heavy because you are carrying too much garbage, take it off! You don't need it. It only contains concerns, troubles and problems – give it away, you don't need it The Lord is waiting for us. He is walking with us. If you don't think you can go on by yourself, close your eyes and imagine Him reaching down with His arms extended toward you. Reach for those hands, grab them and ask Him to help you walk. Please, you are not too tired to praise the Lord tonight! Let go of those garments and put on the garments of praise. Lets praise God; lets reach the mountaintop tonight the glory of God is waiting for us. Praise God!

SCRIPTURE

2 Samuel 22:3-7: I love You, O Lord, my strength! The Lord is my Rock; my Fortress and my Deliverer, my God, my Rock in Whom I take refuge. He is my Shield and the Horn of my salvation, my Stronghold, my Refuge. I call out to the Lord Who is worthy of praise and I am saved from my enemies. The cords of death entangle me, the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me; the cords of the grave coiled around me, and the snares of death confronted me in my distress. I called to the Lord; I called out to my God for help. From His temple He heard my voice; my cry came to His ears and He heard me. Praise God!

PROPHECY

O My precious children, I love your songs to Me. I am great, but because I am great does not mean that I am not interested in every little thing that happens. I am interested in the birds of the air, the fish in the sea and in everything that I have created. So do not be afraid, My children, to be like the little children who run into the house, banging the door, ready for milk and cookies when the ball game is over, shouting that they have won.

SCRIPTURE/ PROPHECY

The Lord has given us many, many promises and His word.

Isaiah 43:1-2: “Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the water, I will be with you; in the rivers you shall not drown. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned; the flames shall not consume you.” Since you are precious in My sight, you have been honored and I love you. Fear not, for I am with you!

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 18:17:20: He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place and rescued me because He loves me. Thank You, Jesus!

PRAYER

Holy Spirit, we just welcome Your Presence and that anointing on this place and on our hearts. Have Your way here and within us. We love You!

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 63:1-5: My God, You are my God - earnestly I seek You! My soul thirsts for You; my body longs for You as a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld Your power and Your glory. Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You. I will praise You as long as I live, and in Your name, I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; my singing lips, my mouth, will praise You.

PROPHECY

My people, I see your love for Me, but I also see your tears. My servant David once said, in 2 Samuel, that he would not offer a gift that cost him nothing. I want you to know that if you are to serve Me, if you are to walk with Me, if you are to speak My words, then you can be no stranger to pain. For I want you to know, My people, that the pain you have in your life is really nothing more than My invitation to you to walk with Me. Know that what you receive is how you make your living, but what you give is how you make your life. I am here to make your life. Amen.

SCRIPTURE / EXHORTATION

Psalm 40:1-4: “I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock, He gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see

and fear and put their trust in the Lord. Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust.” When we have a hard time, we tend to complain, but let God put that new song in our mouths; that song of praise, that song of love to our Lord. Thank You, Jesus!

SCRIPTURE / EXHORTATION

Romans 5:1-2: “Now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have gained access by faith to this grace in which we now stand.” I will read that again: “Through Whom we have access by faith to this grace in which we now stand, and we boast in our hope of the glory of our God. Not only that, but we even boast of our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.” So we don't have to fear anything! We don't have to fear anything! How can we fear when Christ is in us? When we receive the Holy Spirit, we become united with Christ; not only united with Christ, we become a temple, a holy temple, because of that Spirit in us. When we receive that Spirit, we become children of God. So we shouldn't worry about anything; just turn it all over to God and pray and He will take care of all of your needs. Don't we love our God! He is an awesome God! Our hope is in Him, the Lord Jesus Christ!

CONFIRMATION

I would like to confirm that reading. When we are in those dark places, and things are looking shaky, and we are depressed and confused, we shouldn't look at it as a breakdown. Look at it as a break-through look at it as something that God can turn around and use it for His glory. Instead fretting about it, we can say, “God, I thank You that You are going to use this situation for Your glory. God, I glorify You in the midst of this trial. God, I ask You that You would take this, turn it around, and use it for Your Kingdom. Let somebody else see the fruit of this trial. When we do this, we will have true joy because we are not focusing on ourselves and our troubles, but we are focusing on the cross, to our God.

CONFIRMATION

I also would like to confirm that. Tonight, all night long, in my mind I kept hearing this voice telling me that He knows all of our cares He knows what is burdening us in this world but He is also going to shower down His blessings upon us.

CONFIRMATION

I also would like to confirm this because it seems to me that all night long, He has been telling us in different ways “I never said you wouldn't go through the waters, I said that I would always be with you, and that you would never drown. I never said that you wouldn't walk through fire, I said that you wouldn't be burned. I never said that you wouldn't walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I said, ' Fear not, fear no evil, I will be with you.'” That is the key: He is going to be with us through it all, no matter what. Fear not!

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 84:1-13: How lovely is Your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! My soul yearns and pines for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even a sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, my home is by Your altars, Lord of hosts, my King and my God! Happy are those who dwell in Your house! They never cease to praise You! Happy are those who find refuge in You, in whose heart are the highways to Zion. As they go through the valley of Baca, they find spring water to drink. Also from pools the Lord provides water for those who lose their way. They pass through outer and inner wall and see the God of gods in Zion. O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; listen, God of Jacob. O God, look kindly on our shield; look upon the face of Your anointed. Better one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere. Better the threshold of the house of my God than a home in the tents of the wicked, for a sun and shield is the Lord God, bestowing all grace and glory. The Lord withholds no good thing from those who walk without reproach. O Lord of hosts, happy are those who trust in You!

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, we trust in You! You have said, Lord Jesus, that the Spirit of the Lord is upon You; that You were chosen to bring good news to us; that You were sent to us to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind; to set free the oppressed and to announce that now is the time for the Lord to save His people.
