INSPIRED WORD

OCTOBER 6, 2004

EXHORTATION
I encourage those who have a prompting from the Holy Spirit to come forward when you have a scripture or word to share. Do not be afraid, your word will edify the body of Christ gathered in this place. Freedom in the house tonight, Lord God.

IMAGE / WORD OF KNOWLEDGE
As we were affirming the fact that the battle does indeed belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, I had an image and a sense that there is someone who feels like they are wrapped tight with wire binding, kind of like a type of binding they put around boxes or bales of hay. The Lord is just saying that “I am going to break that strap around you that confines and conscripts you so much and that tonight is your time of freedom”.

INSPIRED WORD
Lord, in the words of that song, our hearts cry out to You, the Living God. Lord, help the words of these songs to be the very prayer of our hearts. Help us, O Lord, to let them come forth from the depths of our being, to cry out to You, to give You praise, to yearn for You, to come closer to You.

Come, Holy Spirit, with Your wind. Come, Holy Spirit, with Your living water. Come Spirit of God, with Your cleansing and Your purifying fire. Come, O Lord, come and have Your way in this place among us tonight. Come O Lord, come Spirit of the Living God and touch every heart. Come, O Lord, and let Your glory be made manifest among Your people. Come, O Lord, and anoint us with Your holy presence.

INSPIRED SCRIPTURE
Psalm 48: What we have heard, we now see in the city of the Lord of Hosts, in the city of our God founded to last forever. O God, within Your temple we ponder Your steadfast love. Like Your name, O God, Your praise reaches the ends of the earth. Your right hand is fully victorious, Mount Zion is glad. The cities of Judah rejoice because of Your saving deed. Go about Zion, walk all around it, note the number of its towers, consider the ramparts, examine its citadels that You may tell future generations; yes, so mighty is God, our God, Who leads us always.

IMAGE/PROPHETIC SENSE
I see through the cross and I see the body of Jesus on the cross. And yet as I see it from the back; I see His arms outstretched. I see on His back a large heart. The heart seems to be what is holding Him onto the cross. As I walk around and look at this; no matter what perspective or angle I take or what location I stand in, it is a transparent vision where the heart is the symbol that is the most forward. It is best viewed from the back. As I sought the Lord as to what this image and heart meant, the message is that no matter where we stand, whether we stand in sin, or forgiveness, whether we stand near or far away, His heart is the thing that is most open and drawing us to that place of healing, of deliverance, of salvation and of repentance. That place where no matter how hard our hearts are, there is a softness that emanates from the hardness of the wood of the cross that pervades all of our brokeness, and draws all of our incompleteness to Him. As we become one and as we are unafraid to step up and stand in His presence and take the love that He has given for us, He is our liberty, our freedom, our mercy, our healing and deliverance and righteousness. We no longer need to stand in unworthiness. As we draw close, it is His heart that embraces us and as we are one with His heart, we are made whole.

CONFIRMATION
As I was standing here, I heard the words: “You cannot prepare your hearts enough to receive Me. No amount of preparation of your own hearts will ever be enough to fully embrace Me; instead allow Me to prepare your hearts. Open yourselves up to allow Me to soften your hearts that you might receive the fullness of My love and My life, My grace and that you might be forgiven of your sins, that your own hardness of heart would be changed to softness, for the sake of receiving Me and then giving Me.”

CONFIRMATION SCRIPTURE
1 Peter 2: But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him Who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. Once, you were not a people, but now you are the people of God. Once, you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

CONFIRMATION
Before everybody got here, I was sitting here in the church quietly and I looked up at the stain glass window above the altar. I saw the red spot in Jesus' chest and once you notice that, everything else around it fades away.

INPSIRED SCRIPTURE
Jeremiah 31: The days are surely coming says the Lord when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant that I made with your ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. A covenant that they broke; though I was their husband, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put My law within them and will write it on their hearts and I will be their God and they shall me My people. No longer shall they teach one another or say to each other, know the Lord, for they shall all know Me from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity and remember their sin no more.

INSPIRED SCRIPTURE
Matthew 25: At that time Jesus said in reply, I give praise to You, Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth, for although You have hidden these things from the wise and the learned, You have revealed them to the child-like. Yes, Father, such has been Your gracious will. All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; no one knows the Son except for the Father and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal Him. Come to Me all you who labor and are burdened, I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart and you will find rest for yourselves, for My yoke is easy and my burden light.

CONFIRMATION
We heard that in prayer before we began, so I confirm that scripture.

PROPHECY
Come closer. I even whisper your name. Come closer, I am calling you, come closer, do not hesitate, for I have much to give you. Do no worry about worthiness, do not worry about anything for I have told you, my Heart is for you. I have come and I have been among you. I have walked among you and I know what you brought with you and it matters not. I say, come closer, allow Me to embrace you, allow My heart to love you. I want to know.

INSPIRED PRAYER
Lord, we just affirm your Holy Spirit moving among us; touching your people now in this place. We just affirm that hand of love of God as you go from one to another.

WORD OF KNOWLEDGE
Someone came tonight with a conscience just filled with doubts and scruples and the Lord says to you, My love heals you here and now.

PROPHETIC SONG
From the beginning, I have loved you. You know its true, my first thought was how much I love you. You know its true, I gave my life for you. Universe could never match your beauty, the stars, the glory with which you shine and age to age, tell the story you are Mine. From the beginning, my first thought was how much I love you. You are a star in My crown, compared to you the moon fails to shine, because My first thought was of you, you are Mine. You are Mine, my beloved, you are Mine, you are Mine. So sweet, you are Mine and I love you. My first thought of you was how you shine. O you shine!

CONFIRMATION SCRIPTURE
As you were beginning to sing that, I was drawn to 1 John 4… Love consists in this, it is not we who love God, but that God loved us and sent His son to expiate our sins.

MESSAGE IN TONGUES

INTERPRETATION
Too long your tongue has been silent because you have been afraid to speak. I tell you now speak My name. I tell you now, speak to the people; I tell you now overcome your fear by allowing My grace to flood within your hearts, that you may no longer be silent, that you may speak, that you may proclaim from the rooftops that My name may be made known among the people.

CONCLUDING PRAYER
Jesus, we do love You. We love a God Who is completely faithful. We love a God Who loves us so much that He did give His only Son and we do love Him. We thank You Lord for being faithful, for being sovereign, for being ever-loving to us. We thank You, Lord, for giving Your word into our hearts that we might take it out into the world. Amen.
