WORKSHOP – PRAYER IN A CIRCLE FOR RECEIVING THE GIFTS OF WORD OF KNOWLEDGE AND WORD OF WISDOM

LIFTING UP OF THANKSGIVINGS

PROPHECY   My children, in the name of my precious son, Jesus Christ, rejoice that your names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Ps. 53   O that from Zion might come the deliverance of Israel, that Jacob might rejoice, and Israel be glad, when God restores the people.

Heb. 10   Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is his body, since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us drawn near to God with a sincere heart and full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience, having our bodies washed with pure water.  Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.  CONFIRMATION   Led to same Scripture.

PROPHECY   Lean not on your own understanding, for my thoughts are far above yours and my ways higher than yours.  I say rest in me and trust in me.  Do not strive, do not be anxious, do not be troubled, for my Holy Spirit rests upon you, and so shall you rest upon me.

PROPHECY (in song)   My grace flows down, like the rain, spring rain, like the rain, spring rain.  All you've got to do is open up your arms, open up your hearts, and let it fall on you, just let it fall on you.  My grace flows down.

INSPIRED PRAYER   Lord, here we are, with arms open wide.  We don't want to miss a single drop of your grace and mercy that comes our way.  You tell us all we have to do is receive it – it is there for us.  Here we are, Lord, heads lifted up and arms open wide, our hearts open and ready, anticipating, expecting.  Lord, you are the God of grace, the God of mercy, the God of compassion, faithful and just, true, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.  You wrote it in the beginning.  You are faithful to complete it.  You are the author and finisher of our faith.  Lord, we look to you.  We don't look to the left.  We don't look to the right.  God, we just drink in your grace.

CONFIRMATION WORD OF KNOWLEDGE   I want to confirm what the Lord is saying and doing with us right now.  As we began tonight, there was a word to press in.  There may be some who think they could never be gifted – not holy enough, not spending enough time in prayer.  The Lord is saying to us:  PROPHECY All you need to do is turn to me.  Press in to me.  Hear the words that I speak to you now. As I say in my word in Isaiah, ‘As the rain and the snow come down from the heavens and do not return without watering the earth, making it yield and giving growth to provide seed for the sower and bread for the eating, so the word that goes from my mouth does not return to me empty, without carrying my will and succeeding in what it was sent to do.'  WORD OF KNOWLEDGE.   Right now the Lord is fulfilling his promise.  He is pouring out grace, mercy, comfort, and peace.

EXHORTATION   Come, let us return to the Lord, for he has torn us, but he will heal us.  He has wounded us, but he will bind us. He will revive us after two days, and he will raise us up on the third day, that we may live before him.  So, let us press on to know the Lord.  His going forth is as certain as the dawn, and he will come to us like the rain, the spring rain watering the earth.  INSPIRED PRAYER Lord, I know that sometimes you give us a physical manifestation to show us what you are doing in the Spirit as well.  Lord, it is raining outside now, and it has been raining a whole lot lately.  Lord, I really believe that it is a sign that we are in a season of abundance of your mercy, the abundance of your rain.  That is going to mean a whole lot of things.  Lord, it is about your grace, about your mercy.  It is the spring rain, the fresh things, the new promise, the new dawn, the hope.  So, Lord, again we embrace what you are doing, and we are thankful for the season of the abundance of rain.

PROPHECY When have you craved me like you crave ice cream?  When was the last time you craved me in intimacy, in closeness.  When was the last time you have truly craved my presence in your life, in your circumstances, in your troubles?  When have you craved me?

(There is a song I've written and the chorus says:  Lord, I am so hungry for the Bread of Life.  So, tell me why do I spend my wages on what fails to satisfy?  The Lord is the Bread of Life, and he calls us deeper.)

EXHORTATION   The Lord is calling us to come closer in prayer.  You can't get there without prayer through the week, without quiet time with me.  He is the one who is going to satisfy our souls.  He is the one who is going to heal our wounds.  He is the one that is going to guide us and give us the answers.  He is asking us to come closer, to drawer nearer, so that He may purify us, refine us, heal us, and build us up and send us out in the power of the Holy Spirit. 

CONFIRMATION SCRIPTURE   Isa. 55   Everyone who thirsts come to the waters.  You who have no money, come and eat.  Come buy wine and milk without money or without cost.  Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy?  Listen carefully to me and eat what is good and delight yourself in abundance.

MESSAGE IN TONGUES

INTERPRETATION   You are mine.  You are all here by my calling.  The reason you are here is because I called you.  I wanted to pour my graces out on you.  I wanted to love you.  I wanted to open hearts to love me.  You are my holy people.  You are truly blessed by my Father.  Honor me.  Honor the Holy Spirit.  Above all, honor my Father.  Walk with me every day.  When you wake, honor me.  Before you sleep, honor me.  I am coming and I am going to lead a mighty army.  I will be at the head of it, and you are that army – you and many others. 

TESTIMONY TO THE POWER OF SAYING THE ROSARY, TO THE POWER OF MARY'S INTERCESSION, LEADING US TO HER SON

EXHORTATION   The Lord plants in our hearts a hunger that bread cannot satisfy.  He plants in us a thirst that water cannot quench.  That thirst is for Him alone.  Only He can satisfy that hunger, and only He can quench that thirst. 

PRAYER FOR ONE ANOTHER

CONCLUSION PRAYER   Lord Jesus, take these problems, these situations, these circumstances, these hurts, these fears, and carry them.  In you, lies our faith.  You are our Savior.  Hear those areas we give to you now, that we place in your hands, with complete trust.  Jesus, we don't want to hold on to our own beliefs the way things ought to be; we want them to be the way you want them to be.  Lord, we want to be purged of any desire that is not in accordance with your will.  Lord, we want to be made a holy people, a people who will be channels of your love and of your grace and of your presence, to a world so much in need.  Jesus, you say, come to me you who are burdened and heavy ladened, and I will give you rest.  We affirm that, Lord.   We pray special blessings on our pastors and parishes, upon our church, upon the Holy Father, the bishop and those who lead us, those pastors of other churches that seek your will and seek to guide their flock to come and know you.  We pray for our nation as we approach election time, that we may seek to make our choices in accordance with your will and your teachings.   Give us the strength, the boldness, and the wisdom to act as Christians.

Lord, we thank you for your presence in this place tonight.  We thank you for the anointing of your Holy Spirit.  Lord, we want to go out of this assembly as the apostles went out of the upper room – on fire with love for you, anointed by your Holy Spirit, to spread your kingdom to the world! 

CONCLUSION   God gave us some very beautiful things tonight.  One was that he reminded us to always make a place 24/7 in our hearts to worship Him – no matter where, there is always a place for that.  He also told us that he gifts us and he loves us.
