INSPIRED WORD

SCRIPTURE / PRAYER
Jeremiah 30:2-3: Thus says the Lord: The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness. Israel, when it went to find its rest, the Lord appeared to them from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore, I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” Lord, You draw us with lovingkindness! Lord, You draw us with lovingkindness; with mercy, compassion and grace, faithfulness, goodness, strength, everlasting love; love that doesn't change. Lord, it is so safe to trust You, to give ourselves completely to You.
IMAGE
...the Lord Jesus, He is standing there and there is a person who comes up to Him and starts pounding on His chest with their fists. There is a struggle going on and they are just pounding and pounding. There is all this activity. The Lord says to them, “Stop! Be still; listen to My heart of love. Stop! Be still and listen to My heart of love. Stop the struggle. Listen! Place your head on My chest; listen to My heart of love. Stop the struggle and listen.”
SCRIPTURE
Philippians 4:4-7: Rejoice in the Lord always, I shall say it again: Rejoice! Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
PRAYER
Lord, gather us under Your wing like a hen gathers her chicks You were speaking to Jerusalem at the time and You said that they wouldn't come. Lord, even as we ask You to come, Lord, we come to You. We come to You!
EXHORTATION
....no need to be afraid of the One Who loves you more than life itself. He gave everything to love you. What is there to fear? He won't hurt you; He won't disappoint you; He won't abandon you. He loved you more than life itself. He begs for love in return, so that you can receive His love. Not that He needs our love, but He knows that the human person can not receive love unless they are able to give love. That is why He calls us to love Him, not for His own sake, but for our sake so that we can receive the love He wants to give us. Let Him love you!

INTERPRETATION
O My people, My beloved people, I love you! The word 'surrender' is hard for you. In this day and age, you sometimes think of surrender as 'I quit'. But, My people, I don't want you to quit being who you are. Please don't think of surrender as 'I quit' or 'I give up'. Think of surrender as 'I give OVER' . Surrender your burdens to Me; surrender your troubles; surrender your
tough decisions; surrender your joy and happiness too. I love you! I so long to be in your life
to be in every aspect of your life. I so love you! I surrendered all for you and laid it down for
you. Put that love in mine; just surrender unto Me. I will love you and never harm you! I have every good in store for you, My precious, beloved ones! Surrender, give over to Me. My burden is easy and light and I will be with you. I love you so, and I would never ask you to do anything that would harm you. My beloved, I so love you! That little piece of your heart, that little piece that you hold back; I already know it. I love you! Let Me love you; surrender, give over!
PRAYER
As we surrender our hearts to You, our hearts become more and more like Yours. A surrendered heart, O Lord, is a channel of love for others and for the world. I would just ask you, as we get near to closing, that you stretch your hands out to any corner or direction of this building. Just pray for this building, this gathering place, and those that enter. Lord, we just pray for this place, for all of the seats, for all of the space here, for the doors, for this ground on which we stand. We pray, O Lord, that Your Holy Spirit help fill this temple with His glory and that Your Word may be done in this place and in every heart that enters. Now if you could imagine that as you have your hands stretched out in every direction, that our prayers go out now to this neighborhood, to this city, to the people most in need of knowing and hearing about the Lord Jesus Christ, His love and His message. So as we stretch out our hands now, let us pray for them: O Lord, all of the people that surround this place, in this neighborhood, all of the people of this city, and the churches that call themselves Christian, we pray for all of them. We pray for those, O God, who are lost and need to know of You and haven't even heard of You. If they have, they have never come to know You in a deep and personal way. We pray for all of them right now; that the grace that You pour forth upon us in this place will flow out like a mighty river into their homes, their work places, under the bridges or wherever they may be. Lord, we pray a blessing, a blessing for all of them. Lord, when we leave this place, give us the eyes to see! Give us the heart of compassion; give us Your hands of aid that we might bring Your whole Presence to every place we go and to every person that we meet. Surrendered hearts are channels of Your love and grace. Help us to more deeply surrender them unto You! O Lord, we thank You for Your Holy Presence here upon us. We love you!
