INSPIRED WORD

OCTOBER 29, 2003

PROPHECY     I have called you to climb and become mine, to come up on higher ground and be with me tonight.   For I have set before you, a banquet.   I have set before you more than milk, more than honey , I have given you meat .   I have set before you the truth of my word ,   that you   may feast, feast in abundance, my beloved ones, my holy and chosen ones.   My glory rests upon you.

EXHORTATION Let us pray for all of   these empty pews, that God will send people to fill them.   I know that is his desire.  

INSPIRED PRAYER    Lord, I know that you are here.   I know that there are so many people longing to hear your voice, longing to know the truth, longing to know who you are and have you in their lives.   I ask that you would send these people to this church, to you , Lord Jesus Christ, because you alone are the truth.   You alone are the way.   Only through you can we be saved .   Lord Jesus, I can see every one of   these pews filled with people worshiping you.   Thank you, Jesus.   Thank you, Holy Spirit.   Thank you for coming here and blessing us and those you will bring to yourself.   Amen.

PROPHECY   As you come to him, the living stone, rejected by man but chosen by God and precious to him, you also as living stones are being built into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices up   to God through Jesus Christ.   You are a chosen people, a royal   priesthood, a holy nation, a people who belongs to   God, that you may declare the praises of   him who calls you out of darkness and into his wonderful   light.   Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God.

PRAYER FOR PRIESTS AND PASTORS

Lord, we ask you now to touch our priests who have dedicated their entire lives to you.   Bless them, O God.   Pour forth your Holy Spirit upon them.   Give them your strength.   Give them your wisdom.   Give us the love that we need to have in our hearts for them.    Lord, sustain them and guide them.

CONTINUED INSPIRED PRAYER

Lord Jesus, in your gospel, it was those who were in need of you that you invited to your feast, those who were crippled, those who were lame, those who were poor, those who perhaps the world looked upon as useless and worthless.   Lord, touch our hearts, that we may in this age, at this time, have your love for those people, for those same people that you have such tremendous love for, for those people who are in despair, who have as their gods the things of this world, who do not know your love and your mercy.  

Isa. 42:     Thus says God, Yahweh, he who created the heavens and spread them out, who gave shape to the earth and what comes from it, who gave breath to its people and life to the creatures that move in it, I, Yahweh, have called you to serve the cause of right.   I have taken you by the hand and formed you.   I have appointed you as a covenant to the people and light of the nations.   To open the eyes of the blind, to free captives from prison, and those who live in darkness from the dungeon.   My name is Yahweh.   I will yield my glory to no other, nor my honor to idols.

Heb 4:   Since in Jesus, the Son of God, we have the supreme high priest, who has gone through to the highest heavens, we must hold firm to our profession of faith.   For the high priest we have is not incapable of   feeling our weaknesses with us, but has been put to the test in exactly the same way as ourselves, although he is without sin.   Let us, then, have no fear in approaching the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace when we are in need of help.  

PROPHECY IN SONG   Come now, my beloved one, stand closely.   Let it rain down on you.  

INSPIRED PRAYER   O Lord, let your mercy touch us.   Let your forgiveness wash over us.   May we be purified in those places that we hold from you.   Let us place them at your feet now.   O God, help us to receive your mercy and your forgiveness.   Make us holy.   Refine us, O God.   Give us hearts of love, Jesus, like yours.   Give us generous hearts that give love away.   Forgive us, Lord.  

PROPHECY   My love is enough.   My mercy is enough.   Do not choose the things of   the world.   They cannot bring you joy.   T he happiness they bring is short-lived.   My love is enough.   My mercy is enough.  

Ps. 51:     Create in me, a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.   Do not cast we away from your presence and do not take your Holy Spirit from me.   Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me by your generous spirit.   CONFIRMATION

1 Chr. 16     Give thanks to the Lord of Hosts, for the Lord is good.   His mercy endures forever.

INSPIRED SONG   Create in me, a clean heart, O God.   Let me joyful in all of your ways.   Give me a hope.   Teach me a song.   Shelter me in the shadow of   your wings.   For we are your righteousness.   When we die to ourselves and live for you, we shall be born again to be blessed in your love.  

PROPHECY   My people, when you choose the world, do not despair.   Turn to me, my mercy is enough.   My love is enough.

EXHORTATION   We are in a real tender place.   As we turn our hearts to Him, and ask Him to refine us and purify us, our Lord's heart is so tender to us.   He wants so much for us to understand his heart towards us.   His heart aches for us.   When we feel so weary and run down, He just aches for us to look His way so He can pour out his mercy, his grace, his strength.   He is a good God, an amazing God.   He loves us so much!   This is a time when we can really get in touch with the tenderness of our Lord's heart.

INSPIRED SONG   He who is within me is stronger than he who is in the world.   I will sing the victory of   my God.   I will sing the victory of my King.   I will claim the power of his love, and I will claim the power of   his cross.   Because he who is within me is stronger than he who is in the world.  

EXHORTATION   (Summarization)    Sometimes we feel left out – like everyone else is receiving God's blessing, but we are not.   Let us be reminded that at the cross there were different kinds of   disciples, followers, there.   Our Lord had encouragement, something for every one of them.   There was the thief, the sinner, Mary and John, there was the crowd on the hill.   Our Lord gave something to each of them – comfort, relationship, encouragement, mercy.   He has something for each of us, no matter where we are.  

CONCLUSION PROPHECY    Like a soft and gentle rain, almost imperceivably, I have been raining my mercy, my grace, my love, upon you.   I have been touching the places that have been hardened by disappointment, by sorrow.   I have been touching them with my grace, with my mercy, my love.   Those places have been softened.   Even though you do not know it, I say to you, I have softened those places.   And I have planted in that softened soil, new hope, new joy, new love.   I have given to you my mercy, that my mercy may be given to others.   Believe me when I say to you, I have a tender heart toward you, and your heart is being made tender toward me.

PROPHECY   You give me this night, your broken hearts, your failed dreams, your heartaches, your past – I will take those things and give you a heart of love and a spirit of joy.   Peace I rain down on you, my beloved, for you are my hope, my chosen ones.   My heart rains down love that you might be filled, that you might be complete.   My mercy I would pour out to you.   What would you give me, my people?   Your broken hearts?   Your shattered dreams?   I will take those things.   I will create.   Know that my heart is here, that my mercies are here.   Yield unto me all that is broken, all that is in need of my touch, and I will take those things and render great and holy things.   For that is what I call you to.   As the deer pants for the waters, look for me, for I will satisfy your thirst.   I will satiate you and fill you in your hunger.   No longer milk and honey, but more – the meat of   my word.   I have set before you a banquet, a banquet of my delight for you.   I have prepared a place in my heart.   I have prepared a room in my father's house for you.   It is not of your own striving that you get there, but I will carry you there.   I pick you up and carry you on the wings of my holy love.   Know my voice.   I speak to you quietly, so be still and listen.   For I long for you.   I long for you to come to me and be filled.   I long for you to live in peace.   I have designed you with a purpose, to live in peace, to be filled daily, from the chalice that overflows, with my love, with my sacrifice for you.   Harken, come, and be still before me.

PROPHECY   I am a running stream of water in the desert of your heart, trickling, bubbling, refreshing, contrasting the aridness within.   I seek to provide moisture, I seek to provide refreshment, I seek to cool that parched arid land of your soul.   I wish instead to leave an oasis, a place of springs, a place of blossoms, a place that breaks forth in color and variety.   No longer dry, arid, but instead a beautiful oasis, filled with color, fragrance, life, passion, joy, greatfulness, holiness, filled with an incredible light.   No longer a parched sun beating down, drying out and withering and destroying, but, instead, a bright and beautiful, azure, blue light, that you experience in joy, rejoicing, weeping with enjoyment.   I seek a changed heart.   I seek to recreate and renew it, to change that which was not intothat which is – a reflection of my heart.

CONCLUSION   In Phil. it says, ‘He who has begun a good work in you, will be faithful to complete it.'   Tonight, the Lord has begun a good work in us, and he will be faithful to complete it.   PROPHECY   It is not only here that you can feel my tender heart.   Any time you feel overwhelmed, stop for just a moment and remember the oasis I am creating, and be with me, and you will feel my peace and my joy and my love.  

SHARING/EXHORTATION    (Summarization)   Even when we feel broken, there is a completeness in God.   He calls us to trust.   Just as in the story of the loaves and fishes, with just a little bit, he can do so much.   We are to be bread broken for others.   Listen for how God is calling you.   Do not think you don't have enough –with God, we can feed this hungry world.
