SCRIPTURE
Habakkuk 2: 2 – 3: Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write down the vision clearly upon the tablets, so that one can read it readily. For the vision still has its time, presses on to fulfillment, and will not disappoint; if it delays, wait for it, it will surely come. It will not be late.”
SHARING / SCRIPTURE / EXHORTATION
There are times when I don't think I have been able to go any further. But I am telling you this statement is so true: “When I am weak, then I am strong”. (Reference 2 Corinthians 12:10) This statement is so true, not because I have heard it, but because I have lived it, and I continue to live it. When He tells us that He loves us, these are not just words – I experience His love. I am just overwhelmed sometimes, because I just don't understand how He can love us so much. Sometimes I try to say ‘thank You', but words aren't enough. But then I realize that our words are enough because He understands, even though I don't. When you hear those words, do everything you can humanly do, then ask God for help that you may do more through Him. Believe those words, accept them and carry them in your heart every day. I am not saying that the pain or hard times will go away, but I am just telling you that it is just overwhelming to walk with His love through those times.
CONFIRMATION / SUMMARY / SCRIPTURE
I want to confirm what Mel just said, and I want to confirm what the Lord said tonight. God didn't just tell us tonight that He loved us, did He? We heard that He said that He loves us, but after we had the message in Tongues, the interpretation that came forth was very unique. God said, “My children, I love you more than the stars, more than anything that I have created.” How much did God love the stars? He loves each of the stars enough to give them a name; Scripture tells us that, for it says that “He heals the broken hearted and bandages their wounds. He has decided the number of stars and calls each one of them by name. Great and Mighty is our Lord; His wisdom cannot be measured. He takes pleasure in those who honor Him and those who trust in His constant love.” (Reference Psalm 147: 3- 5, 11) We are called to trust in His constant love! We are called to believe when He tells us that He loves us more than anything He has created. In the good times, in the bad times, in the sickness and in health, God says, “I love you more than anything that I have created.” That is pretty special to hear that tonight. It gives us a responsibility to understand that love in the way He wants us to understand it, to live it the way He wants us to live it and to carry it where He wants us to carry it. This community is very unique because God calls us to pray with and for each other and that is what we do.
