Who will not stand in awe of you, Lord? Mighty and glorious are you! Who will not stand in awe of you, Lord! We give you praise! Bountiful in love, beyond our imagination! Holy are you!
Ps. 108 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast. I will sing and make melody. Awake, my soul. Awake, harp and lyre. I will wake with the dawn. I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples. I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is higher than the heavens, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens. Let your glory be over all the earth!
INSPIRED PRAYER Let the ruah of breath of your Holy Spirit breathe through us, O Lord God. Make us vessels of worship as we raise our voices to you. Breathe your Holy Spirit upon your people. Come, O Holy Spirit. We cry out to you. Empower the gifts you have showered upon your people. Empower us to love one another, and to lay our lives down for you. Come, Holy Spirit.
PROPHECY Hear, O Israel, the Lord my God. The Lord is one. I am pleased that you come tonight, in unity, to worship me. Regardless of your backgrounds, or your denominations, I love you. I am pleased with your worship. I am soon to return with my host of angels. Look up, for your redemption draws nigh, says the Lord. Praise your holy name! The Holy Spirit is here. He is moving in our midst. This is the generation of the coming of the Lord. At this time, I will pour out my Spirit in double portions, says the Lord. The former temple of King Solomon, with this temple that I am now coming to, will be greater than the first. I am pleased. I love you. Seek me, because I am moving now in my Spirit.
IMAGE/WORD OF KNOWLEDGE As we were worshiping the Lord, I had an image of hearts hardened, and I believe the Lord is touching hardened hearts here in this place tonight….perhaps hearts that have had difficulty extending forgiveness. PRAYER Lord, we pray for anyone who has hardness of heart. Your word says that you will give us hearts of flesh. You pour forth upon us your love, your healing, your mercy, your forgiveness. We ask, Jesus, through the power of your name, and through the power of your Holy Spirit, that grace now be given, to touch those hearts, here, now, that need to be hearts open, hearts of flesh, hearts softened.
CONFIRMATION SCRIPTURE Ps. 95 Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your heart. The Lord says that the way hearts become unhardened is through our worship. Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord. Let us shout aloud to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving, and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is a great God, the great King above all gods. In his hands are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down and worship. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your heart.
INSPIRED PRAYER, IN SONG Create in me a clean heart, O God. Let me be like you in all my ways. Give me your strength. Teach me your song. Shelter me in the shadow of your wings.
CONFIRMATION VISION/WORD OF KNOWLEDGE I see hearts that are chained, but not in a bondage sense, as if we are chained as bond servants to the heart of Christ. I see every single heart chained and bound to the heart of Christ. (What that speaks to me is not bondage, but liberation. It speaks to me the power of Christ in us, to be set free, where human effort could not accomplish.) Christ's love – his heart and our heart – has the power, the grace, the mercy, and the love to set free the captives. The Lord is working in hearts, in places that have been untouchable, in bondages that have been unreleasable . I believe there are bars that have been erected that God would break down, because of the power of his love, the mercy of his compassion, the blood of the Cross. PRAYER Lord, we ask you to come deep into our hearts. We release, we unbind, we open the door. We release you, Lord, to do your work in us. Lord, we relinquish our control. We relinquish our agendas. We relinquish our ideas. We set you free to be Lord and master of us. We enthrone you in our hearts. We place you where you belong, as Lord and Master. Whatever that means to us, we release. Speak to our hearts and open up in our minds, the plan that you have for each and every one of us. You have called each of us with a glorified purpose and a righteousness that you adorn us with. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is peace, freedom, righteousness.
