INSPIRED WORD
SEPTEMBER 21, 2005
PROPHECY
My people, tonight I wish to share truth with you. I want you to know that out there, all around you, is My world, the world that I created, the world that is filled with My glory. If you will see My glory in that world every single day, then you will not be focused on what is missing – you will be focused on what you have.
IMAGE / SCRIPTURE / EXHORTATION
As we were singing tonight, I had a vision. It was of a river flowing down the hill side. The skies were dark and it was thundering, lightning was flashing and it was raining. It looked like rough weather. I realized that the spirit of the watchman was upon me. It brought to mind the book of Habakkuk, chapter 3:17-19: “Though the fig tree does not blossom, and no fruit be on the vines; though the produce of the olive fails, and the fields yield no food; though the flock is cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the God of my salvation. God, my Lord, is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, and makes me tread upon the heights.” We are not intimidated by the weather or what is around us. We are still going to worship our God, even in the difficult narrow paths of our lives. I saw the river of God flowing right down the hillside. I rejoice in knowing that God is there with us and we worship Him, in spite of what is going on around us. Praise the Lord! We will rejoice in the name of the Lord, our God, for He is great, mighty and majestic in all of His ways. I will praise the Lord at all times. Alleluia to the Most High God!! For You alone are the Most High God!! Alleluia!
INSPIRED TEACHING
.....carrying water down to the valley below making that valley green and flourishing. But then something, which is not necessarily bad – beavers – decide to start collecting things, mud, twigs, grass, downed trees – and they start to block the stream. After awhile they have blocked all the water completely and the beautiful valley down below starts to dry out and starts to look like a barren desert. And the Lord said that is how we can be. The Living Water of Jesus flows through us and as long as it flows through us, everything seems to be alright. But some things we begin to collect, which aren't bad necessarily – our work, our family, our concerns, and after awhile, we collect so many of these things that they start to block the flow of the Living Water coming through us. It is not until we call upon the blessed name of our Lord - “Lord, we need You to clear all these things away; we need Your Living Water to once again flow through us, Lord.” It is then that the faithfulness of God shows up. He says, “I have been here with you all the time; I have just been waiting for you to come and ask Me. To ask Me to take these things away, if only for a short time, so that the Living Water will once again flow through you; that the blessed name of God will be recognized in you and that you may come and praise Me for what I have done for you – those wonderful works. The wonderful works I will do for you, when you call on Me.”
