PRAISE AND WORSHIP WITH TESTIMONIES

 

PRAYER OVER PRAYER GROUP MEMBER DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER

 

INSPIRED VISION   As we were praying, I saw a halo around the head of, I believe, Mary, the mother of  Jesus, surrounding her on the right side, touching her back and her head, all the way down her body.  The Lord is with you.

 

INSPIRED PRAYER   Yes, Lord, we know that you are here.  Your word has told us that you want to be so close to us that we feel your breath upon our face.  We want her to feel your breath on her face, in her heart, and in her very being.  We do pray for your mercy, for your compassionate touch.

 

INSPIRED MESSAGES GIVEN IN PRAYER

 

......   My daughter, my desire is to heal your mind as much as your body, to melt the cancer within your soul as well as the cancer in your body, to heal your spirit and your heart,  that you might know my will and cling to it.  Open yourself up to a healing that surpasses anything that you can expect or even hope for.  My healing for you is complete and is completed by your willingness to be open to what I desire to do in you.  In the weeks and months to come you will be tested.  It will not be easy, but turn to me, turn to me without fail, and I will show you a greater glory than you have ever known or could ever know.  Those around you will radiate in the glory that shines through you, that comes from me. 

....   Trust in me for I will be with you.

 

....  Bless her with health and healing that she can't even fathom. 

 

....  Though you may be surrounded by troubles on every side, the Lord will bring you safely through them all.

 

...The Lord says he was there first and he will be there last.  He surrounds you.

 

...Be open to the deep abiding peace that I choose to give you.  Know that I am with you through it all.

 

INSPIRED PRAYER   Lord, the comfort of your words tells us that you are here with us, that you will be with us through it all.  You tell us that over and over.  As we walk in these situations, sometimes we forget, but you lovingly remind us that you are right by our side, facing what we face, feeling what we feel – the apprehension, the nervousness, the uncertainty.  Lord, you want us to lay that all at your feet, and we pray for that also.  Give us the courage to do that.  We ask for the faith and the trust to know that you are working in this healing.  Thank you, Lord.

...The Lord wants me to lay my hands on you, and somebody needs to be behind you, in the name of Jesus, be set free.....

 

INSPIRED PRAYER  We thank you, Lord, for your precious touch, for the healing you are doing and will do, not only in her but in all of us who share in that healing.  We thank you, Lord, for her courage to come before us, with boldness, and lay it before you.  We do claim that healing in your name. 

 

CONFIRMATION INSPIRED SCRIPTURES   Ps. 34, 5-7   I sought the Lord and he answered me and delivered me from all of my fears.  Look to him that you may be radiant with joy and your face may not blush with shame.  When the afflicted man called out, the Lord heard, and from all of his distress he saved him.

 

Matt 8:    Suddenly a man with a virulent skin disease came up and bowed low in front of him, saying, Lord, if you are willing, cleanse me.  Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him saying, I am willing, be cleansed.

 

WORD OF KNOWLEDGE/VISION   I have received a vision that there is someone here tonight who has a very open wound in the spirit that is bleeding very profusely.  Step forward and seek healing.

 

INSPIRED SCRIPTURES   Matt 11: 28-30 Come to me all of you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

 

Heb. 4   Therefore, since we have a great high priest, who has gone through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.  For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weakness, but we have one who has been tempted in every way just as we have, but without sin.  Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

 

IMAGE As we were singing, “We'll never know how much it cost to see our sins upon that cross,” an image came to my mind of  Jesus.  He was in a plain white robe and was sitting on a tree stump.

 

PROPHECY My beloved, let nothing stand in the way while you are on the road to worship me.  Those things that you harbor in your heart that keep you from coming, that keep you from trodding on that path without stumbling, let them fall by the wayside.  Let the enmity fall by the wayside, let the jealousy, the bickerings, fall by the wayside.  What I desire is pure worship.  When your hearts are contaminated, it is hard to give yourself to pure worship, the worship that I desire.  The worship is not for me alone, it is for you to know my presence, to know my fullness in your hearts, to know the ripe wholeness that seeks to burst forth in your life.  The things that keep you from me are in your heart.  Drop them by the wayside on your way to bow at my altar. 

WORD OF KNOWLEDGE There is someone here who has the interpretation of the image of Jesus sitting on a tree stump.  CONFIRMATIONS

 

EXHORTATION   The Lord wants us to understand that when we pray, and he answers in power, that we should not be afraid.  Let go of fear and let our only feeling be that of praise and joy and gratitude, and we will see his power.

 

CONFIRMATION SHARING   Healing is through prayer, through community and people, but the true healing is in faith in Jesus Christ.  (Sharing of  personal healing, through faith.)

 

PRAYER OVER PERSON WHO HAS EXPERIENCED LOSS/EMOTIONAL PAIN

 

INSPIRED PRAYER   Lord, you tell us when we draw close to you, the yoke is easy and the burden light.  Sometimes we feel the heaviness of daily life, of depression, of the circumstances surrounding us.  Lord, in our humanness we do not have the words to say.  We grasp at loneliness, at emptiness, at quietness.  We thank you for the courage to speak in a community such as this that knows your love, knows your compassion, knows your understanding, that knows of your presence, that knows that you carry those burdens with us.  We know how precious we are to you, Lord.  We ask for your healing on this person and on all of those in this community who are experiencing any type of illness, depression, uncertainty, struggle.  We place them all before you, Lord. We claim healing in your name, Jesus.  We praise you and thank you for what you have done and what you will continue to do!

 

EXHORTATION   The Lord wants you to totally surrender.  It is not about you.  The desires, the problems, the whole situation – He wants you to give it all to Him.

 

Phil 12:  Not that I have already obtained all of this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.  Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it, but one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.  I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.  Phil 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again, rejoice.  Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent, praiseworthy, think about such things.  Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice, and the God of peace will be with you.  EXHORTATION As it hard to rejoice in our sufferings, I encourage you, as it says in 1 Pet., to rejoice in our suffering, for when we do, sin loses its power over us.  That alone can give us reason to rejoice.

 

 

1 Cor. 13:   Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never ends.

 

CONFIRMATION   Love those who love us – what is that?  For even the tax collectors do the same.  The call is to love unconditionally, to share in the trials and tribulations, to rejoice with those who rejoice, to weep with those who weep.  For we are one body, one body in Christ.  No Jew, no Gentile, no young, no old, no male, no female.  We are one, we are one as the bride. 

 

INSPIRED SONG   We worship the Lamb in one voice, with one mind, in this realm, united with the angels who sing at the throne of God.  Holy is the Lamb.  Worthy is the Lamb, who died on the cross for every one of us.  Holy is that Lamb!  Holy are you Lord!

 

PRAYER FOR PRAYER GROUP MEMBER'S MOTHER WHO IS HOSPITALIZED

 

INSPIRED PRAYER Lord, we pray for her and for all who experience the same thing. Regardless of where we are, who we are, the age we have reached in this life, you love us with the very depth of your being.  We know that your hand reaches out and touches and the person you touch feels that love.  We humbly ask for your healing touch, for your mercy, your caring, your loving.

 

..... The Lord says not to worry about your mother.  He has taken care of her and has taken care of your needs as well.

 

LIFTING UP OF PRAYER PETITIONS

 

CONCLUSION   Tonight, the Lord chose to visit us in a very unique way.  We thank him for that.  We come here to gather and to praise His name.  He comes and visits us with his touch in a special way.  We'll never know the cost of our sin that placed Jesus on the cross, but we do know of his love.  He wants us to touch each other with it and to take it from here.

 

PRAYER FOR MOTHER AND SON WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

 

CONFIRMATION OF IMAGE Earlier someone had an image of  Jesus sitting on a stump of a tree.  Tonight we have all experienced how we come forward and sit with Jesus at that stump.  He holds us, and comforts us.  He is our Abba Father.  We have to go to the stump to meet Jesus because he is there waiting for us.  He is there to hold us, comfort us, and be our Father in heaven.  

 

...he is also our brother.  He is there 24/7.  He is always with us.

 

AMEN!
