SCRIPTURE / PRAYER

Jeremiah 31: 11 – 12: “I have set Israel 's people free and have saved them from a mighty nation. They will come and sing for joy on Mount Zion and be delighted with My gifts.” Lord, we give You praise for the love You pour forth upon us and the salvation upon which we stand. Lord, we open our hearts to You tonight. Lord, we love You! Help us to draw close to You tonight.

...the bread and in singing this song, the thought that came to me was when the Israelites were lost in the desert, God sent the manna, the supernatural bread from Heaven, down to nourish their bodies.

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 73: 23 – 28: Yet with You I shall always be; You have hold of my right hand. With your counsel You guide me, and in the end You will receive me in glory. Whom else have I in Heaven? And when I am with you, the earth delights me not. Though my flesh and my heart waste away, God is the rock of my heart and my portion forever. For indeed, they who withdraw from You perish. But for me, to be near God is my good; to make the Lord God my refuge. I shall declare all Your works in the gates of the daughter of Zion .

SCRIPTURE

John 14: 12 – 17: The very words of Jesus from the Gospel of John: I tell you the truth anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask Me for anything in My name and I will do it. If you love Me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth.

WORD OF KNOWLEDGE

The Lord wishes to speak to this community and He has placed His word in the mouth of someone here. I encourage you, if you are the one who has received that word, not to hold back, but to come forth and speak it.

PROPHECY

Come to Me all you who are weary and heavy burdened! Come to Me all you who are weary and heavy burdened and I will give you rest. I will give you rest! Take My yoke upon yourselves and learn from Me for I am meek and humble in heart. You will find rest for your souls.

I will give you food that truly satisfies and I will give drink that truly quenches. Do not seek after those things that do not satisfy, seek after Me! For I will give you food that truly satisfies and drink that truly quenches.

John 6: 51: I am the Bread of Life! Whoever eats this Bread will not perish, but have everlasting life.

PROPHECY

My children, I beg you, I plead with you, don't be complacent in Me! The harvest is many and the workers are few and it is that way now more than ever. Don't be complacent in Me, you can't have enough; I can't have enough of you! Seek Me, look for Me! I am here! It is hard to find me sometimes, I know, in the world that you are in, but I am here. I have never left you! Don't let a minute go by, don't let a chance go by because that is Satan using his tools in telling you to do it later or not at all. Don't wait, do it now!! Seek Me, look for Me, love in Me and for Me, act upon your love! Make my love contagious! Don't let time go by! The world needs My peace and it needs it now in a most desperate way.

IMAGE / SENSE

I had an image during the song “Breathe”. The image was a boat being tossed about on a stormy sea and Jesus is the anchor for our lives and He keeps us from being tossed around. I keep getting the sense that we need to pray for our youth who have been baptized, but have turned away from Jesus, from the Eucharist and the Church. We need to pray for an anointing of the Holy Spirit upon them so that they return to this wonderful gift that Jesus has given us.

SENSE / EXHORTATION

I just feel moved to pick up on something that Jesse said tonight and the Lord has been stirring my heart with it. It relates to a story that was on the Internet today. Jesse stated, “Don't do it later, do it now!” We need to take that to heart very seriously. Laura talked a little bit about the Olympics and this is a story that was on the Internet today. It is about a woman who competed in a swimming race – I believe it was the 6,000 meter swimming race. She desired to do this for a long time. She trained for it, she prepared for it, she put up with a lot of hardships to do this, but she never gave up. She wanted to enter this race with courage and determination. That is what God asks us to have tonight – courage and determination. This woman came in 16 th in this race and that is kind of amazing considering she only has one leg. Now think about that! Courage and determination – don't do it later, do it NOW!! The Lord has all of these gifts for us and I think what He is saying through these words of Prophecy and through these words of comfort, is that if we strive with the same desire and determination that this woman expressed, how many hearts can we touch? How many people can we comfort? How many lives can be changed? But we don't do it later, we do it NOW! Just like Mel was moved to get up and say that someone has a word for this community and those people responded. They didn't have to do it, but the Lord placed the desire in their hearts and they got up and they spoke. Desire and determination – don't do it later, do it NOW!! If we desire the gifts of God, we don't want to ask for them next week, but we want to ask for them now – today, tonight. We want to ask God to place that same courage and determination within us so that we can do it now. We can speak His words of Prophecy, we can speak in Prayer Tongues, we can speak a message in Tongues and we can touch the lives of others. We do it with courage, determination and trust. We know that it is not us, but it is God doing it through us because we have chosen to do it NOW not later!
