INSPIRED WORD

August 19, 2009

PRAYER

...... to walk in Your Presence everyday of our lives. We pray that You would put Your hand on anything and everything that is in our lives that hinders our ability to walk in Your Presence. We want to glorify You and do the things that You want us to do. We want to be good people, Lord!

SCRIPTURE / PRAYER

I was really struck when we were talking about the Presence of God and the glory of God. Exodus (13: 21 – 22) tells us how the children of Israel followed the cloud of the Presence of God through the wilderness. They followed the pillar of fire by night and cloud by day to go where God was leading them. Father, we just want to go where You want us to go. Father, please help us to walk with You, to walk in the glory of Your Presence all the days of our lives.

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 95: 1 – 7: Come, let us sing joyfully to the Lord; cry out to the Rock of our salvation. Let us greet Him with a song of praise, joyfully sing out our psalms. For the Lord is the great God, the great King over all gods, Whose hand holds the depths of the earth; Who owns the tops of the mountains. The sea and the dry land belong to God, Who made them, formed them by hand. Enter, let us bow down in worship; let us kneel before the Lord Who made us. For this is our God, Whose people we are, God's well-tended flock.

TONGUES

INTERPRETATION

My precious children, you are living in an age where you have experienced the failure of many things. You have seen the economy fail, jobs fail, and relationships fail, but I want you to know there is one thing you can count on which cannot fail, and that is My love for you. It is an unfailing love. I love you and I always have; I do now and I always will!! I am a God Who cannot fail and My love for you is unfailing . I love you!!

SHARING / SENSE

Quite often when the Lord uses me to speak a prophetic word to you, I don't know what the Lord is trying to say to us through me until the Interpretation comes. But I am fortunate to experience quite often the emotion in which He speaks. For example when I tell my children, who are now adults, that I love them, I don't want them to just hear the words. I want them to experience the fact that I do love them. That is the sense that I get when the Lord speaks through me to you. It is a burning desire that I experience of His emotion, of Him wanting to have you really believe what He is saying to you. He is not just speaking the words; He wants you to feel the words, to experience what He has in store for you as He speaks. That is the sense that I got tonight. He doesn't want you to just know in your head that He loves you; He wants you to sense the emotion with which He speaks those words to you. He really loves you, and He really wants you to come to Him and experience the love with which He is speaking. I can't put the emotions into words, other than in my own humble way say to you that GOD REALLY DOES LOVE US! He loves us in a way that He wants us to understand, that maybe even words aren't necessary, even though He uses words so that we can hear them.

CONFIRMATION

I confirm that. I think that is why there has been so much quietness here tonight. The Lord just wants us to be quiet in His Presence and to feel and experience that love. He wants us to be open and to feel His love and His Presence.

CONFIRMATION / PRAYER

In a confirming Scripture from Romans 8: 31 – 35, 37 – 39: “What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He Who did not withhold His own Son, but gave Him up for all of us, will He not with Him also give us everything else? Who will bring any charge against God's elect? It is God Who justifies. Who is to condemn? It is Christ Jesus, Who died, yes, Who was raised, Who is at the right hand of God, Who indeed intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Tonight, Lord, You have asked us, “Will you go all in for Me?” You have asked us, “Will you lay your lives down for Me?” And Lord, I don't know about the others, but I always ask, “What does that really mean, Lord?” Sometimes I am afraid to say, “Yes, I will go all in, Lord.” It is easy to say, but tomorrow when all the worries of the day come back, I sometimes forget that I want to be all in for You, Lord. But You never forget, You are always in for me; You bring it back to me. With that passionate love that was talked about earlier, You remind me through the beauty of the morning, through a kind word, through the love of another, through something that comes out of my mouth that I know only came from You, through a feeling of love for another whom I have had a hard time loving, You remind me that You are all in for me. You are bringing me to the place where I can be all in for You. You remind me that nothing, nothing is able to separate us from Your love given to us in Christ Jesus our Lord.

SCRIPTURE / PRAYER

Ephesians 3: 14 – 19: “For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that He may grant you in accord with the riches of His glory to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” That is what God wants for us tonight, from here on. So we may know the breadth, the length, the height and the depth of His love and to be filled with the very fullness of God. This is our hope; this is what He calls us to bring to a world in need. We ask Him for the strength, the courage and trust to do that. Lord, we thank You for Your Presence tonight and we say, “Amen!”
