INSPIRED WORD

November 18, 2009

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 40: I waited, waited for the Lord, Who bent down and heard my cry, drew me out of the pit of destruction, out of the mud of the swamp, set my feet upon rock, steadied my steps, and put a new song in my mouth, a hymn to our God. Many shall look on in awe and they shall trust in the Lord. Happy are those whose trust is the Lord, who turn not to idolatry or to those who stray after falsehood. How numerous, O Lord, my God, have You made Your wondrous deeds! And in Your plans for us there is none to equal You. Should I wish to declare or tell them, too many are they to recount. Sacrifice and offering You do not want; but ears open to obedience You gave me. Holocausts and sin-offerings You do not require; so I said, “Here I am; Your commands for me are written in the scroll. To do Your will is my delight; my God, Your law is in my heart!” I announced Your deed to a great assembly; I did not restrain my lips; You, Lord, are my witness. Your deed I did not hide within my heart; Your loyal deliverance I have proclaimed. I made no secret of Your enduring kindness to a great assembly.

SCRIPTURE

I got these verses earlier. John 1:5: ... the light shines in the darkness and the darkness does not overcome it. 1 John 1:5: Now this is the message that we have heard from Him and proclaim to you: God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 17: Hear, O Lord, my righteous plea; listen to my cry. Give ear to my prayer – it does not rise from deceitful lips. May my vindication come from You; may Your eyes see what is right. Though You probe my heart and examine me at night, though You test me, You will find nothing; I have resolved that my mouth will not sin. As for the deeds of men – by the word of Your lips I have kept myself from the ways of the violent. My steps have held to Your paths; my feet have not slipped. I call on You, O God, for You will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer. Show the wonder of Your great love, You Who save by Your right hand those who take refuge in You from their foes. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings from the wicked who assail me, from my mortal enemies who surround me. They close up their callous hearts, and their mouths speak with arrogance. They have tracked me down, they now surround me, with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground. They are like a lion hungry for prey, like a great lion crouching in cover. Rise up, O Lord, confront them, bring them down; rescue me from the wicked by Your sword. O Lord, by Your hand save me from such men, from men of this world whose reward is in this life. You still the hunger of those You cherish; their sons have plenty, and they store up wealth for their children. And I, in righteousness, will see Your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing Your likeness.

PROPHECY

Rest your hearts in My hands. Listen to My voice and hear Me speaking within you. Let the strength of My words and the comfort of My love lift you up, lead you on, and bring you to the meadows where I call you to be. My people, incline your ears, and give Me your hearts.

INTERPRETATION

My children, I do hear you! I am always with you, I am always listening and I will never leave you! Should a mother forget the child of her womb, I will never forget you. You are the apple of My eye, you are My chosen ones, I have called you by name. You are Mine! I have written your names on the palm of My hand, how could I ever forget you.

WORD OF KNOWLEDGE

I feel that God wants me to speak to someone here who is actually struggling with the Eucharist and their belief in whether or not Jesus comes to us through the Eucharist. I had asked God to give me some kind of confirmation; that was before Mel said, “If you are sitting on a word, come forward and say it as this is what God wants to say.” So now I know that God wants me to say that He loves you very much and wants to be able to come to you through the Eucharist; that is His intimate relationship with you. He longs for you to come to Him and receive Him in the Eucharist.
