INSPIRED WORD

JANUARY 17, 2007

SCRIPTURE / PRAYER

...and take away, but still my heart will say, “Blessed be the name of the Lord!” In Job Chapter 42: (verses 2 – 5) Job says, “I know, Lord, that You are all powerful, that You can do everything You want. You ask how I dare question Your wisdom when I was so very ignorant. I talked about things that I did not understand, about marvels too great for me to know. You told me to listen while You spoke and to answer Your questions.” This is the part that I love so much - after all he had been through, Job says to the Lord, “In the past I knew only what others had told me, but now I have seen You with my own eyes.” Thank You, Lord, that You do indeed allow us to see You with our own eyes and know You deep in our hearts. When that happens, Lord, we bless Your name in the times that are plentiful and in the dark times too. For we know, that once we have seen You and experienced You, that You are God of gods, Light of light and nothing, nothing can stand in the way of Your love and Your will for us.

PROPHECY

He was King of the heavens before there was time and King of all kings He will be! The thought that came to me is this: “I am the King of all kings. I am the King of tiredness. I am the King of doubt. I am the King of reverence. I am the King of uncertainty. I am the King of all that enters your mind. Now I ask you, My people, as King, place Me above all those things. Focus on Me, My people, place Me in your hearts, place Me in your minds, place Me above all those things. Do not let them sit on My throne! Place me above those in your hearts and in your minds, then will you see, My people, what the King of kings will do.”

IMAGE / PROPHECY

......there and going along with that is an image of a person holding onto a chain. At the end of the chain is a huge ball and that ball represents a circumstance in that person's life. It is causing this deep, deep despair and almost a feeling of hopelessness. The Lord Jesus would say this, “Turn and look at Me! Turn away and look at Me! Drop the chain of that circumstance and turn and look away at Me. For I am your Deliverer; for I am your Savior; for I am the Shepherd of your soul; for I am the One Who makes all things new; for I am the mighty Lord; for I love you and I set you free. Drop the chain and look away from that circumstance and look into My face. I love you! I set you free! I love you!

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 31:15-17, 20,24-25: I trust in You, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in Your hands; deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. Make Your face shine upon Your servant; save me in Your kindness. How great is Your goodness, Lord, stored up for those who trust You, in the presence of all the people. Love the Lord, all you His faithful ones! The Lord protects the faithful, and fully repays the arrogant. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”
