INSPIRED WORD

OCTOBER 15, 2003

Ps. 78: 4 Give thanks to the Lord. Proclaim his greatness. Tell the nations what he has done. Sing praises to the Lord. Tell the wonderful things that he has done.

LIFTING UP OF THANKSGIVINGS

INSPIRED PRAYER Lord, we are seeking with everything that we have. We are seeking for you, for your presence, your love, your holiness and your glory. Your Word says, knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Lord, we are not only knocking, but we are banging at the door. We want the door to be opened. Let it be opened, that we come into your holy presence. Bring us in, God.

VISION I had a vision of a group of people receiving the Lord's blessings. Some had large buckets and some small buckets. There were those who just got under the shower of blessings from the Lord and were just reveling in his blessings. PROPHECY Do not just collect my blessings and keep them to yourself. Do not capture them and then hide them for you alone. Come, share with others what I am sharing with you.

2 Cor. 3: Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters of stone, was so glorious that the Israelites could not look intently at the face of Moses because of its glory, and that was going to fade, how much more will the ministry of the Spirit be glorious.

INSPIRED PRAYER Lord, we are amazed to stand in your presence. We look at the stars in the heavens, and you call us by name. Lord, we revel in your presence. We look up and see your face, and there is no other place on earth that we would rather be…. looking at you, smelling your fragrance, feeling your warmth, looking into your eyes. You are so amazing! You overwhelm us with your heart. You capture us again and again. Lord, embrace your people tonight. Hold on to us tight. Here we are, Lord. We give you everything that we have, everything that we are, nothing held back.

PROPHECY Though the mountains be shaken, and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken, nor my covenant of peace be removed (says the Lord who has compassion on you.)

WORD OF KNOWLEDGE/PROPHECY The Lord has a word for someone here. He says you hear the call. You hear me say, open up your heart to me. But, you are afraid, for you have been disappointed. I say to you, do not be afraid of me, for I am a God of compassion and of mercy. Those times of disappointment, I have been near to you, whether you felt me or not. I have stood between you and circumstance. Tonight, I am saying to you, open up your heart to me. Let my mercy drops fall upon you. Feel them refresh your face. Feel them falling on your face. Know that it is I, the Lord, who touched you, and then be drenched in my mercy, for I long to pour this upon you. I love you. I will never leave you. My hand is upon you. I call you. Trust me. I love you.

PROPHECY Reach back in your memory, my beloved ones. Reach back and think about a person whom you dearly love. When you see them, you have such peace and joy and excitement, someone you would do anything for, sacrifice anything for. If you can picture that, it is but a mere speck of my love for you.

PROPHECY I know all…every cry for mercy, every sigh of weariness, every plea for help, every sorrow over failure, every weakness. I am with you through all. My tender sympathy is yours, my strength is yours. Rejoice at your weakness, my children. My strength is made perfect in weakness. When you are weak, then I am strong, strong to help, to cure, to protect. Trust me, my children. I know all. I am beside you, strong, strong, strong to save. Lean on my love and know that all is well.

CONFIRMATION SCRIPTURE Heb. 4: Since in Jesus, the Son of God, we have a supreme high priest who has gone through to the highest heavens, we must never let got of the faith that we have professed. For it is not as if we had a high priest who was incapable of feeling our weaknesses with us, but we have one who has been tempted in every way that we are, though He is without sin. Let us be confident, then, in approaching the throne of grace, that we shall have mercy from Him and find grace when we are in need of help.

PRAYER FOR EACH OTHER, IN SMALL GROUPS

EXHORTATION You are looking at other trails, too, some that look easier, smoother, and you think they might leave to the summit of love. Don't take any of those trails. Stay on the trail. Stay on the way. Stay on Jesus, your Savior. Do not go astray. Those other trails go further and further away from that love, from your goal, from heaven. They will lead to sin, to destruction. Do not despair. You think, here comes more suffering, the going is getting tougher and tougher, and nobody cares. He does care. He loves you very much. Do not despair. Stay on the trail.

CONFIRMATION VISION/PROPHECY I received a vision of a person dangling at the end of his/her rope, ready to let go. The Lord says to you, I will send you helpers. My peace will enfold you. My love will carry you safely. My angels stand guard over you, and I am in control of the situation that you have heavy on your heart. Do not be afraid. I will make the way, for I know the plans I have for you, and they are good and not for evil. They are to give you a future and a hope. Search for me with all of your heart. I will strengthen you. I will give you my courage. You are in this place right now for a purpose. Surrender to that purpose. Surrender to what is happening. For I say to you, I have made a way, and I will bring others to uphold you and guide you, to comfort you. Be at peace, my beloved one, and hang on, just a bit longer.

READING OF POEM DEDICATED TO MOTHER THERESA

“PRINCESS OF THE BROKEN HEARTED”

Oh such a lovely, lovely princess, so gracious, so gentle, so kind.

The earth will never know another; you were quite beyond your time.

Princess, but not from birth, a realm not quite in your hand,

A job you could never complete, but still a princess.

They came to you, and you didn't turn away.

Enemies of love tried to stop you, but they were led away.

Into your arms, and you went to die, and you held them,

Wiped their tears away.

O princess, where is your palace?

A palace in the mud..

cockroaches and beatles became the sentries there at your door.

But, you, Mother Theresa, under the trash of human greed,

Reached out and picked up the little ones,

Of whatever age.

…..And so must we, with the love of Jesus, and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
