INSPIRED WORD
JUNE 15, 2005
….you're to be; first, to be at peace, peace that comes from Me and know that I walk beside you. I call you to trust in Me and to allow others to trust in you. I call you to be blessed; as I have blessed you, you can bless others. I call you to love Me and to love others as I have loved you.
CONFIRMATION
I distinctly heard Jesus' voice saying, “Peace.” He wants His peace to be with us, not the peace of which the world gives.
Luke 17:6: If your faith were only the size of a mustard seed,” Jesus answered, “it would be large enough to uproot that mulberry tree over there and send it hurling into the sea. Your command would bring immediate results.”
Those places that we need a touch of Your healing, a touch of Your freedom, those illnesses, O God, those fears, whatever it might be, Jesus, we are bringing it all to You – all of those things, Jesus, we bring to You right now. Take them, Lord! Lord, Your name means ‘Yahweh saves'! The Lord saves! From all of these things, Lord, save us! We have confidence in You – glory to You, Jesus. Save us, O God from all of these things; save us, O God. Jesus, we love You! Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
The Lord has a message for two groups of people here. There are some who have been crying. The Lord wants you to know that He has seen those tears and He is about to move in a very powerful way in your life. There is another group here who is seeking His will and the Lord has one message for you. The message is “seek Him”. It is your relationship with Him that will provide your guidance.
WORD OF KNOWLEDGE
During the moments between prayers, or even as we are continuing to praise Him, He speaks and touches us. Between the last songs and when we were talking about peace, I just felt as if God was touching me. It was as if He were massaging my shoulders and the tension and the stress were just draining out of me. As we hear the Scriptures being read and the images and prophecies coming forth, He is speaking to us. We continue to sing and He speaks back. We sing and He speaks back. When there is quiet, He is touching us and this conversation just goes on all night. It is a back and a forth, back and forth.
CONFIRMATION
As I lift up my hands in praising God and stay quiet, with my hands raised, I really can feel the physical presence of God holding my hands as I raise them up to Him.
SCRIPTURE
Paul's Letter to the Hebrews (Hebrews 4:14-16): Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has similarly been tested in every way yet without sin. So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help.
SCRIPTURE
1 Peter 1:3-7: Praise be the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, Who in His greatest mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, a birth to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled and unfading, kept in heaven for you who by the power of God are safeguarded through faith, to a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last days. There is a cause for rejoicing here, you may for a time have to suffer the distress of many trials so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious that gold that is perishable even though tested by fire, may prove to be for praise, glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
CONFIRMATION
I would like to confirm this, because the Lord had shown me a vision of a great shining cross right here before us. I asked the Lord for the interpretation of that vision. He said that He wants us to come to that most beautiful place in the universe, the place where we kneel at the foot of His cross, where the full experience of His death and resurrection becomes part of our lives. He also told me that there are other people to whom He is going to speak.
WORD OF KNOWLEDGE
Jesus is Lord, Jesus is King, Jesus is Master and Jesus is Love! Jesus wants all of us to know tonight that He is here with us, He is always with us. But He wants you particularly to know that you should bring your needs and your wants before Him, no matter how small, how little or how inconsequential it is. He wants to have all of your needs placed at His altar and He wants to bless us with all His work and His love.
SCRIPTURE
Zephaniah 3:14-20: Shout for joy, O daughter Zion! Sing joyfully, O Israel! Be glad and exalt with all your heart, O daughter Jerusalem! The Lord has removed the judgment against you, He has turned away your enemies; the King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst, you have no further misfortune to fear, on that day, it
shall be said to Jerusalem: Fear not, O Zion, be not discouraged! The Lord, your God, is in your midst, a mighty Savior; He will rejoice over you with gladness, and renew you in His love, He will sing joyfully because of you, as one sings at festivals. I will remove disaster from among you, so that none may recount your disgrace. At that time I will deal with all who oppress you, I will save the lame and assemble the outcasts; I will give them praise and renown in all the earth, when I bring about their restoration. At that time I will bring you home, and at that time I will gather you; for I will give you renown and praise, among all the peoples of the earth, when I bring about your restoration before your very eyes, says the Lord.
PRAYER
Lord, we cannot begin to understand Your ways, You are indescribable, incompatible, untamable, unchangeable. Lord, You are amazing! Lord, when we think about Who You are, Your character, the way You show Yourself to us, Lord, we are awe-struck! You are the One Who placed the stars in the sky, and named each of them, You created man, You created the earth. O Lord, there is none like You! There is none like You in heaven, there is none like You on earth! You are an amazing God! And the most amazing thing of all is that the God of the universe, knows us individually! You number the hairs on our head; You know our comings and our goings, You are with us when we rise, You are with us when we sleep. David said, “Where can I go from Your Presence?” Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Nothing can separate us from the love of God! We love You! We love You!
PRAYER
O Lord, we do indeed, sing beneath the shelter of Your wings. You have reached down and embraced us. You have put Your arms around us and You have come with healing in those wings. You have come, Lord, and we thank You and praise You. You say to us, “There is nothing too small for Me to care about.” You say to us, “I have come that you might know My healing; that you might know My mercy; that you might know My joy; that you might know My restoration. For I am about restoring a people; a people deeply in love with Me; a people who will shine with the grace that I pour out upon them; a people who will restore…. there is more, there is more.
PERSONAL SHARING
I had an old image come back to me . One time when I was feeling particularly bad about myself, feeling particularly cruddy, a very good priest said to me,
“When you came to the Lord, when you were baptized, when you were confirmed, God planted you in a field of grace.” His words just penetrated me, I can't explain it, but there is this image, all of a sudden, of me and this little flower, a little plant or what have you, in the rich soil of God surrounded by His grace. I couldn't see it at the time, I was just trapped in my own blah-ness. He said more, but I wanted to leave you with that image – wherever you're at, if you are feeling shaken, if you're feeling fearful, if you're feeling abandoned, if you are feeling alone, if you are feeling away from God, if you feel some barrier, just remember that His love overcomes all boundaries. We are planted in a massive field of God's grace, in a huge field of God's loving powerful almighty all-saving grace.
CONFIRMATION
I can confirm what has been said here tonight. It has to do with the Lord's love for us. I sit here in awe that Jesus Christ died for me on the cross. How much love that took! He knew my name before I was born; He knew what I was going to do throughout my whole life, yet He died for me on the cross. I just can't take it in – I am in awe!
WORD OF KNOWLEDGE
And to continue with what had been stated earlier, I heard Jesus saying that His people will restore His name to Its proper place in the heavens; to restore It from degradation where people are spitting upon It, cursing It and all sorts of other atrocities to His Sacred Heart.
The Lord wants to restore to us the years the locusts have eaten. He wants to renew in us His light that we might share it with others. He wants to lift our heads and no longer stand slumped over, but to stand tall in His grace. He also wants to wipe the tears from our eyes and to renew in us, once again, His joy, His peace and the knowledge of His love. Because only then, when we understand this, can we understand the fullness of His grace and to give and share that with others for we serve a God of a restoration, a God of love and joy and peace. He wants us to take that with us, not only this night, but also morning after morning, after morning. He wants us to open our hearts so that we might be open for the in-filling of His Spirit.
I also want to add to what had been shared earlier. The Lord had been ministering to me the verses from Luke 11:33: No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden or under a bowl, instead he puts it on a stand so that those who come in may see the light. Your eyes are the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body is also full of light, but when they are bad, your whole body is full of darkness. So see to it then that the light within you is not darkness. Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be completely lighted as when the light of a lamp shines on you. The Living Bible version says concerning that last verse: If you are filled with light within, with no dark corners, then your face will be radiant too as though a flood light is beamed upon you. As we receive the healing and grace of the Lord Jesus, He desires for us to go out filled with His light and His healing and share it with others.
CONFIRMATION
I would like to confirm that because the Lord has been saying to me all night, “Step into the Light! Do not be afraid for I am merciful!”
PRAYER
Lord, You are merciful, You are loving! That love is beyond description. You touch our hearts and meet our needs in all circumstances of life and You minister to each of us here. Psalm 75 says, “We give thanks to You, O God, we proclaim how great You are and tell of the wonderful things that You have done”. Lord, we thank You for the wonderful things that You have done. We thank You for the love that You pour forth upon us and the mercy You give us. We thank You that we are indeed in the palm of Your hand; that our days have been numbered and, yes, every hair on our heads have been counted; that You saw us before we were born and You see us right to the end of our earthly life, even into Your Holy Presence.
