INSPIRED WORD

February 13, 2008

SCRIPTURE / PRAYER

…the Lord's Word to us from 1 John 4: 9 – 10, 13 – 16: God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. We have seen and do testify that the Father has sent His Son as the Savior of the world. God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God. So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.” Lord, here in this place we do confess that Jesus Christ is Your Son, Your Savior Who was sent for us that we might know Your love in a very intimate and personal way. And that we may be brought to the very Presence of You, God the Father, Who created us, Who restores us, Who makes us whole and sends us forth. Thank You, Lord!

TONGUES

INTERPRETATION

A part of that message in Tongues has to do with what everyone has been saying here and the Lord is telling us to make this personal. He has given these words to us over the past few weeks and again He is saying, “What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for all of us – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” ( Romans 8: 31 – 32) And then this which I clearly heard in the message of Tongues: “Who then can separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Verse 35) The Lord is saying to us, “What is it that can separate you from My love? Is it a loss of job, is it family relationships, is it wanting to be done with a sin and not being able to do it, is it not wanting to eat less during Lent? What is it that separates you from My love? There is nothing that that can separate you from My love! So now here in this place, I invite you into My Holy of Holies, that you may lay that down, and know that even if you can't lay it down, I am here to minister to you, to love you, to make you whole.”

CONFIRMATION

I also need to say that I had an exact confirmation of the Scriptures in Romans 8 that were spoken a couple of minutes ago.

CONFIRMATION

This has been bouncing around in my heart all day and that something about sharing this Scripture would lead someone, for whom something is running around in their head, to come up and share. So believing that this is a confirmation of what Mel said in Tongues, there are several parts to this. The passage that came to me is from Matthew 11: 28 – 30 : “Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me; for I am meek and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” It just so happens - and I don't believe that God makes mistakes - that this was running around in my heart and then I heard an exhortation on Hebrews 4. “Diligently enter into His rest” - this is how Hebrews reads. “Therefore let us strive to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall, after the example of disobedience.” (Verse 11) Then it continues in Verses 14 - 16: “Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our profession of faith. For we do not have a high priest who was unable to sympathize with our weakness, but one who has similarly been tested in every way, yet never sinned. So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and favor and to find help in time of need.”

SENSE

I don't know if I am just thinking of this in my head, but since being in the Holy of Holies was mentioned, I am going to say it. What comes to my mind is just walking with Him, being near Him and having His heart beat with your heart as one.

SENSE

It just comes full circle. I saw what Ray was saying – of the elders who were falling down; then Jim sharing in terms of our brokenness and our weakness; then Christ drawing us into the Holy of Holies. We can enter into the Holy of Holies because He is the High Priest Who brings us in there; He is the High Priest Who relates to us, Who knows us. And to repeat again what Barb had said, “We cannot be separated from Him.” He calls each of us by name into the Holy of Holies – that is the sense that I get. We have been beckoned, called, drawn into the deepness of His love. These are words from a verse that I wrote down earlier: “You see the depth of my heart and You love me the same!” He is saying, “Come into the Holy of Holies; I call you by name. Nothing, nothing, nothing can separate you from My love!!”

PROPHECY

You are My beloved! YOU ARE My beloved!! And I say it again, you are My beloved!! You are My beloved!! YOU ARE MY BELOVED!!!

SCRIPTURE / PROPHECY / EXHORTATION

We fall down, we lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus, the greatness of His mercy and love.

2 Chronicles 7: 1 – 3 – Dedication of the Temple : “When he had ended his prayer, fire came down from Heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. The priest could not enter the house of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled the Lord's house. When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground and worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, “For He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever.” That is what the Lord has done for us tonight. He has sent the glory of His Presence to dwell in this place as we cried, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord!” He says, “It is not just for here and for now, but My Presence that you have experienced tonight goes with you out those doors. And turn to Me, seeking Me; whenever you say, “Holy, holy, holy”, I will be in your midst, whether in the midst of your workplace, the midst of your family, the midst of a disturbing situation, just remember: “Holy, holy, holy! My Presence fills your life!” There is just an awesome Presence of the Lord here and He wants us to go out with that Presence. Not to forget, but go with it and carry it with us to others. Thank You, Lord! Thank You for what You have done for us!
