INSPIRED WORD
TEACHING: Expecting More of the Fire of the Holy Spirit Desire.
Isa. 43: 1 He who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel, fear not for I have redeemed you. I have summoned you by name and you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. The flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel , your Savior. I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your stead. Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you.
INSPIRED PRAYER Yes, God, tonight we are going to believe those words, that we are precious in your sight. We are loved by you, Lord God. You have made us worthy to move from the outer courts of praise into the inner courts of thanksgiving, and from there into the holy of holies. Through the tearing of your flesh, you have forever torn the veil of the sanctuary, and you beckon us to come in and to worship you. We are here tonight, Lord God, to do just that. We love you, God, because you first loved us.
Mal. 4: In days to come, the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established as the highest of the mountains and shall be raised up above the hills. People shall stream to it and many nations shall come and say, Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths. For all the peoples walk, each in the name of its god, but we will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever. CONFIRMATION WORD OF KNOWLEDGE The Lord has impressed upon me, through that Scripture, that tonight he has brought people here from very many places, for many different reasons, but it is his purpose to unite us all in one voice, a united praise, to praise our Lord and Savior.
PROPHECY I burn like a fire in your soul. I love you, my people. You are made worthy by my sacrifice, the sacrifice of the cross, the sacrifice of my blood, the sacrifice of a Holy Lamb slain for your sins. Know that my love dwells in you. It is a fire raging within you. Let it burn, my people, let it burn within you. Let it cleanse away the doubts, let it cleanse away the fear, let it cleanse away the hurt, let it cleanse away. For I desire to fill you with what I would restore in you my Holy Spirit living and active, my Word living and active, sharper than a two-edged sword, able to restore, able to cut away that which is not of me. Know that my love rests upon you, that my heart is for you, my heart is planted within you. You are my chosen dwelling place. You are the temple of my love. You are the place that I dwell within. Know that my love never fails, my heart never stops beating for you, my beloved, my chosen, my holy ones.
PSALM AND INSPIRED PRAYER
Ps 73:25-28 Who am I if not of thee? Besides thee, I desire nothing on earth. The flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. For behold, those who are far from me will perish. I will destroy all those who are unfaithful to me. But as for me, the nearness of God is my good, and I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all of thy works.
Prayer: Lord, it is your nearness that is our good. Lord, it is your presence that we desire your strength, your portion forever. What else do we need? Lord, we ask that you would give us a glimpse of eternal perspective tonight. Lord, open the eyes of our hearts. Help us to be able to see the big picture, what really matters. Help us to see the way you see things, for truly to feel the nearness of God will be our good.
VISION/EXHORTATION As we were singing, These are Holy Hands, I had a vision of Jesus' holy hands, his holy hands that were pierced for us, giving us forgiveness which is what can make us holy. As I heard those words, I looked at my own hands. Let us all look at our own hands now. These are holy hands. These are holy hands because they do the work that Jesus has given them to do. Because of him being pierced and shedding his blood and giving us forgiveness, we can have his holy hands to do his holy work.
PROPHECY I speak of healing to those of you who are hurting, a restoration for those of you who are broken. For those who under the illusion that you are not broken and don't need me, I will break your heart of stone, to give you a heart of flesh. I want not to hurt you or wound you, but to save you. My salvation is healing. My salvation is restoration of all things that I desire, to bring you to myself, my beloved. But I cannot bring you if you will not come, and you won't come if your hearts are not broken. Let your hearts be broken, let them be poured out, as my Son's heart was poured out. I can then fill you with the love that goes beyond all measure, that goes beyond all knowing, that goes beyond all understanding but never goes beyond my power, my grace, my forgiveness.
Rom. 8: 35 Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, or danger? As it is written, for your sake we face death all day long. We are considered the sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all of these things we are more than conquerors, through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, or anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
INSPIRED PRAYER Lord, as we gaze upon your nail scarred hands, we see the depth of the love you have had for us since the moment of our conception until the present moment. How you have lovingly cradled us in your arms, how you have protected us, sheltered us, nurtured us, encouraged us. Lord, we hear you saying that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and we thank you, Lord, that we are created in your image and your likeness. What a marvel to behold your divine image within us, Lord God. Light the fire in our hearts to illuminate who you are in us so that all the world may see your glory, and be drawn to the brightness of your love. God, empty us of who we are, of who we are that is not what you call us to be, so that you can fill us with all that you have for us. Anoint our lips, Lord God. Touch and transform our hearts. Place that healing upon our hands that we may lay hands and see another healed, that we might speak words of life and share thoughts of your love, Lord God.
INSPIRED PRAYER IN SONG Pour out my heart with its pain and inhibitions. Pour out my soul to you. Fill me, Jesus, with your love. I say, fill me, Jesus, with your love. Pour out my mind with its fears and superstitions. Pour out my mind to you. Fill me, Jesus, with your love. You know me, Lord. You have seen me, Lord. You have touched me, Lord, and I cry, fill me, Jesus, with your love. I say, fill me, Jesus, with your love.
INSPIRED PRAYER Lord, we sing the words to that song, Lord, I surrender all to you. Lord, we know it is easier to say it than to do it. Lord, we pray for that grace you have been calling us to surrender to you more and more and more. We pray for that grace now. Show us, Lord, that place, that area, that fear that we hold on to, that we do not surrender to you. We ask your Holy Spirit to bring that to mind now. Help us to release that one thing that we need to surrender to you now. SONG/PRAYER
I Surrender All to You.
PRAYER FOR THOSE IN NEED OF THE SPECIAL GRACE OF GOD
SONG: Reign Down, Holy Spirit
Rev. 21: 2 Then, I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. I saw the Holy City , the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, See the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them as their God, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more. Mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away. The one who was seated on the throne said, See I am making all things new.
Amen!
