CONFIRMATION OF PROPHETIC WORD AND VISION FROM PREVIOUS PRAYER GROUP MEETING

In the prophetic word, the Lord asked us to take the first step, to go beyond the threshold. The word said, “don't be….” The strong word that came to me was “hesitant.” Don't be hesitant. That same night there was a vision of a ‘bowl of milk.' That vision was not addressed at that time. Later that night, after meditation, this Scripture came to me from Deuterotomy 6: 1-9. ‘These are the commands, decrees, and laws, the Lord your God directed me to teach you. T o observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess.” (I had a sense that the Lord was saying to us to cross the Jordan , now is the time, step across. I have been calling you, wooing you, gently calling to you to come to the threshold and cross the Jordan , and now I am telling you, the time has come to cross the Jordan .) As you read on in the Scripture, it says, ‘crossing the Jordan to possess, so that you, your children, the children after them, may fear the Lord your God, as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, so that you may enjoy long life. Hear, O Israel, be careful to obey it, that it may go well with you, that you may increase greatly in the land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord your God has promised you.' (That brought to my mind the bowl of milk. How often we stay on one side of the Jordan River, happy with the bowl of milk, when the Lord is saying to cross the Jordan where there is a land flowing with milk and honey. He is commanding us.) ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one. Love the Lord, your God, with all of your heart, all of your soul, all of your strength. These commandments I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them upon your children. Talk about them when you sit at home, when you walk along the road, when you lie down, when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands, bind them on your foreheads, write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.'

SUMMARY EXHORTATION The Lord is asking us take the first step, step over the threshold, cross the River Jordan. I think the Lord is asking us to go beyond where we have been. Let us ask the Lord, in trust, to help us to do that.

CONT. EXHORTATION Our love of the Lord should be as evident to others as if we had a big tattoo on our forehead. It should be as obvious as the numbers on our doors that we have so 911 can see them. Our love of the Lord should be that evident.

Josh 24: 14 I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build. You dwell in them. You eat of the vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant. Now, therefore, fear the Lord, serve him in sincerity and truth. Put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the river in Egypt. Serve the Lord.

Isa. 6: 1 I see the Lord, seated on a high and lofty throne, with the train of his garment filing the temple. 2 Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts. 8 And then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send? Who will go for us? Here I am, I said. Send me. He replied, Go. 7 Therefore, the Lord himself will give you this sign. The virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and shall name him Emanual. He shall live on curds and honey by the time he learns to reject the bad and choose the good.

PROPHECY My beloved ones, I call to you. I call to you to look deep. I now surround you with my love. I surround you with a knowing, with a truth. I ask you, my people, what are the chains that seem to yet bind you? If you look deep, you will find them. Is it fear? Is it anger? Is it unforgiveness? Is it self-pity or pride? Is it worrying about that loved one, that job, that dwindling bank account? Is it the pain in your life - physical, emotional? Is it your lack of trust and faith in me. Look beyond that as to why. Have I ever disappointed you? Have I ever left you alone? My beloved ones, what seems to be the worse possible thing that could happen to you, I have ordained it, changed it, blessed it, for your good. I am your way. I am your truth, and I am your life and your light. Sit quietly now, my people, just for a moment or two, and let me reveal to you the shackles that still bind you.

And now, in the silence, with me holding you, with my love pouring upon you, with my grace reigning down on you, name what it is and let it go. I have come to serve, to heal the brokenhearted. I have come to free the captives, to bring joy, to bring peace, to bring love. If you do not sense that, my people, it is not because I have removed it from you. It is because you have moved away from it. Again, I say, choose now, choose me. Choose to be healed. Choose to be at peace. Choose to serve, to love, and to be loved. Quietly, or aloud, name the things you are letting go of this night, no matter what...addictions, unforgiveness, whatever I have revealed to you….name it and let it go.

IDENTIFYING/NAMING OF THINGS THAT BIND US

EXHORTATION After a day or two of fasting, we feel so thirsty, so hungry. That is how we need to hunger and thirst for the Lord. PRAYER We are hungry for you, Lord. We are thirsty for you, Lord. We cannot survive three days without water. We cannot survive one billionth of a second without you, Lord. O Lord, you are the bread of life. You are the living water. You are the way. You satisfy so much more than any cool sparkling water ever, ever could. You feed us abundantly, and you have fed us with your body. You have fed us with your blood. O Lord, call us again to take a day of fasting and prayer so that we will be ready, hungry and thirsty, to celebrate you, your incarnation in us.

SHARING OF FAITH STORY

MESSAGE IN TONGUES

INTERPRETATION Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I call to you, step away from your unworthiness, step away from your unrighteousness, for they are not of me. Step into my presence and know my glory. Step over the threshold, my bride, for I call you into my chamber, and I say you are worthy, you are righteous, you are beautiful, you are loved.

MESSAGE OF TONGUES CONT.

INTERPRETATION CONT. As I am holy, I have made you holy. As I am worthy, I have made you worthy. As I have all power, I give to you all power. I dwell within you. I dwell among you. Fear not. Walk in my light. Walk in my power. Doubt not. Trust me. I have given you all things. I have given you all blessings. Not for you, for others, that you may be a blessing to others, for others. It begins with you. It begins here. It begins now. Don't fear. Fear is not love. I am love. You must be love. You must show love. Start with one another. Start by looking in the mirror. Know my love, and others will know me because they have seen you.

MESSAGE OF TONGUES CONT.

INTERPRETATION CONT. Your feet have been bound, but now are unbound. Your heart has been bound, but now it is unbound. Your mind was bound, but now it is unbound. My word speaks to you, and through you, and in you. Hear my word. Do my word.

PROPHECY Here I am, standing before you. Why don't you come close? Come close to me. Why don't you come close? Come close to me. I want to love you more deeply. Fear not. Step closer, my friends, step closer. Why when I stand before you, do you draw back? I desire an intimate relationship with you. Step forward. Be not afraid. Let go of that fear.

CONFIRMATION SCRIPTURES Why don't we cross the Jordan? It's all about covenant and relationship. The passage from Deut. is about covenant, as is this passage from Jeremiah. ‘The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, a covenant they broke, though I was their husband. But this is the covenant that I will make with the House of Israel. I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts, and I will be their God and they shall be my people. No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, know the Lord, for they shall all know me from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity and remember their son no more.' Matt. 26: 26 While they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread. After blessing it, he broke it and gave it to the disciples and said, Take, eat, this is my body. He then took a cup, and after giving thanks, he gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.' EXHORTATION In Jesus we have a Savior. In Jesus we find forgiveness of our sins. You call out to us, Cross the Jordan. I love you, I forgive you. No sin is greater than my power to love and forgive. He is calling us to cross that Jordan. He is saying I forgive you. I love you.

SHARING OF HOW THE LORD COMES INTO OUR LIVES, NO MATTER HOW LOW OR DESPERATE, TO EMBRACE US IN OUR BROKENNESS, TO TRANSFORM US

CONFIRMATION VISION I see the picture of you playing outside, after it has just rained, playing in mud puddles. You are getting hungry, thirsty, chilly. You try to go into the house, but your father or mother stops you at the door and says you are not allowed in until you clean up. We know that most loving mothers and fathers would come out to get you, invite you in, bring you in, warm you and nourish you. That is what God did for us. That is the gift of Christmas, the incarnation. Jesus came down and willingly went to the cross so that we are able to be brought in, invited in, that he might feed us, comfort us, give us warmth, and most of all, give us new clothes, his love and comfort, give us himself.

CONCLUSION As we move through the tension and hurry of the season, let's ask the Lord to tap us on our shoulder, and as he does, we breathe him in and breathe out the stress. Our God, our creator, our Savior, is in the midst of it all, and he doesn't want our joy to be stolen. Amen.
