INSPIRED WORD

FEBRUARY 8, 2006

PRAYER

.......last verse said the very same God Who places the stars in the sky and knows them each by name, Who created all things, sees to the very depths of our hearts and loves us. He knows, He knows that we want to know Him in a deeper way and He desires to know us. He does know us in a deeper way and He loves us just the same. He created everything and He created us to be in relationship with Him. Right now, right here, Lord, draw us just a little closer or maybe a lot closer, but Lord, we want to be closer to You and we know that You want to be closer to us. O Lord, touch our hearts this night; touch our hearts in this place, that when we walk forth from this place and we look at those stars in the sky, we know that You love us. You love us so much and may we love You in an even deeper way in our hearts. Thank You, God, thank You for Your great love!

PERSONAL SHARING

The Lord has been telling me tonight what He has told me many, many nights on Wednesday in prayer. He reminds me that this is about Him; it is not about me. This is about Him, not about the person who sits next to me or someone who is singing. As I try to draw closer to the Lord, He says, “Today you got up from prayer, answered the phone, then got on the computer to plan the airline trip that you are going to take; is that more important than Me?” I pray everyday to know the will of God, but I don't hear Him. I am probably a little afraid of that. It is by His will power that I will know that, not by my will power. I will continue to pray about this and maybe at some point, I will be able to let go and then really hear what the Lord wants to say to me. It is not about me, it is all about the Lord!

SCRIPTURE

Proverbs 3:5: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.

IMAGE / EXHORTATION

When Mel was reading that verse, the Lord was showing me a vision of water bubbling up out of the desert. When I asked for the interpretation, the Lord said, “I am the Lord, Your God, you shall have no other gods before Me. Do not place fear before Me, do not place anxiety before Me, do not place trouble before Me, do not let fear reign in your hearts, for these things are only names and My name is above every other name. When I see the love and the joy bubbling up out of your hearts, it is as though I am looking down on that bubbling spring in the desert. Let Me see your joy, My people, for then I know that I am your God!

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 43:2-4: You are the God of my strength, why do You cast me off? Send forth Your light and Your truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle. Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight.

I will praise You with the harp, O God, my God.

TEACHING

When you mention the tabernacle, the Lord has been taking me to the tabernacle. It is a wonderful place. It is a place like a large room, and all around is a curtain and you come into the tabernacle and the first thing you come to is the altar of sacrifice. It is a holy place, no longer an altar, but a cross . Then you go on to the basin which the priests use to wash their hands and feet after doing the sacrifice. It speaks to me of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Then we leave the outer court and go into the holy place, and the music with the singing is in the holy place. On the right side here is the bread which is really the living Lord, the Bread of Life. Before us is an altar of incense and the curtain between us and the holy place, but that curtain has been rent or torn. The incense is the Holy Spirit lifting up our prayers to the heavens. On this other side is the Menorah, the candlesticks, God's light, truth to us, which expels the darkness. And so when we are singing like this, I just come to that place where it is quiet – a quiet place to worship – and it just fills my spirit. Then beyond the veil is the Ark of the Covenant, the cabinet with the angels, the cherubims, inside is the Manna, showing how God took care of Israelites in the desert and also the Rod of Aaron, and the Ten Commandments. God is in perfect order. So when we come to that place as we have tonight, it just slips me right into that quiet place and I just rejoice. God has for us His touch, His great love, His great favor for us. Thank you.

SCRIPTURE

Matthew 25:34: Come, you who are blessed by My Father, take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

PRAYER

......beyond our imagination, beyond anything we can comprehend. Lord, we want to have a greater and deeper love for You. Father, Jesus, Spirit, we ask for that gift that enables our hearts to reach out to You in a greater way. Help us to love You, Lord, with our whole heart, soul, mind and inner strength. Lord, for us to be a people called, give us the grace of loving others; give us Your heart, Lord Jesus, for others; for those who are poor, for those who are downcast, for those who might be different from us. Give us Your heart of love, Jesus; give us Your heart of love, Jesus. For those close to us, for those who are far away, for those You bring into our lives, give us Your heart of love, Jesus. Lord, hear our prayer to surrender. Lord, let that be a prayer from deep within our hearts and souls, that into Your loving hands we surrender our lives, our plans, our possessions, our fears, our expectations. We surrender to You, Lord. Lord, Your mercy flows upon us and Your mercy forgives us for all the things we might have done not in accordance with Your will. So now we just lay them all out there and say, “Lord, thank You, thank You for Your mercy; thank You for Your forgiveness, Lord; thank You for washing us truly clean because of the Blood of Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, Lord and Savior. Jesus, thank You!” Lord, You sent upon us Your gift to us, Your gift of the Spirit to make us holy, to make us proclaimers of Your Word, in power and in love. Lord, the Spirit You sent upon us is not a spirit of timidity, but a Spirit of boldness and love, a Spirit of proclamation, a Spirit Who proclaims You as Lord, a Spirit Who speaks to the love of the Father, a Spirit Who flows through us to minister to those in need. Come, Holy Spirit, make us an evangelizing people. Come, Holy Spirit, work through our brokenness. Come, Holy Spirit, show us Your love, the love of Jesus and the Father. Come, Holy Spirit, grant us renewed zeal for the work of Jesus. Come, Holy Spirit, grant us renewed trust. Come, Holy Spirit, grant us renewed dedication. Come, transform us, Lord. We love You!

PROPHECY

I have heard the cries from your heart. I have heard the words from your mouth. I too desire you! I desire to be your all! Come now, and take the hand of My Spirit, I offer it to you. Come now, walk the path of My Son, for He shall lead you. O My beloved ones, your desire is but a rain drop in the ocean of My desire for you. Your love, your love is lost in My love for you. My beloved ones, I say to you again that I desire to be your all. I desire to be your breath. I desire to be your drink and your food. I desire to be your love; truly, truly, my beloved ones, prepare your heart for Me, for I desire to give. You have surrendered to Me and now I say to you, My beloved ones, you shall receive a reward that far surpasses your surrender. My beloved ones, let Me be your all. Breath Me, breath Me, swallow Me, chew Me, love Me, let Me be your all!
