INSPIRED WORD

SCRIPTURE

1 John 3:1: “ See what love the Father has given us that we should be called children of God.” And that is what we are. So when we come together now to praise and worship Him, our identity is because of the great love the Father has given to us and we are the children of God.

SHARING / PRAYER

The Lord has brought to my mind a memory from when I was 16 years old. I believe He brought this to my mind because it fits in now with what He is doing here tonight. It was a very vivid dream, which I now know was probably an image. I was going through a rebellious time in my life and in that dream Jesus was standing there with His arms opened wide. He didn't have to say anything because the look on His face was just pure unconditional love and pure acceptance. I ran to Him and said, “I haven't been doing things right, and I really missed You.” Then He said, “I have missed you, as I haven't gone anywhere! I have been here the whole time. You are the one who turned away, but I want you to know that I have always been here. I am always going to be right here!” I think that this is a big message of what God is saying here tonight – that He has this deep unconditional love for us and that He is always here. He was there before, He is here now and He will always be here. Dear God, we give thanks to You right now that You are always here. Thank You that there are second chances. Thank You that even if we walk away, even if we turn away, even if we make some mistakes, we can always come back to You because You are always here. That is what we rejoice about – that You will always love us and will not turn away from us. Thank You, Lord God, for that love and that we are children of God. How great is the love that the Father has lavished upon us that we can be called children of God! Lord, we come to You tonight and we say, “Here I am to lay it down again for You, Lord, because I want to give my life to You. We love You, Lord!”

SCRIPTURE

Isaiah 53: 4 – 6: Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

IMAGE / PRAYER

Lord Jesus, we praise You for Your love for us! Lord, I had an image of You as You hung upon that cross. As we walked by You on that cross, perhaps worried about the things that we have done, perhaps ashamed and sorrowful, O Jesus, You looked down upon us and You spoke to us. As You spoke our names, O Lord, You said, “Look at Me!” We turned and we looked into Your eyes and we saw the blood running down Your face, O Jesus. Then You spoke the words, “I love you!!” And the love from Your heart, O Lord, came down and touched us, bought us salvation and set us free. O Jesus, O Lord, thank You for speaking our names; thank You for calling us, and thank You for pouring forth Your love into our hearts and setting us free. Jesus! Jesus!! Jesus, we love You too!!!

TONGUES

INTERPRETATION

O My precious children, during My time on earth I tried over and over again to tell you how much the Father loves you, and how much I love you too. I cured your sick, I raised your dead, and I told you stories of how great the Father's love is, how He watches for you, how He waits for you, how He runs to meet you and gathers you back into His arms. The ultimate expression of that was when I gave My life for you and offered it to the Father for you to bring you back into the Father's graces. I love you so much, My precious children, I love you so much!!

PROPHECY

My love is enough for you. My love is all you need. My love sustains you, My love strengthens you, My love nourishes you, My love is all mercy and forgiveness. Remain in My love!

CONFIRMATION

I want to confirm that. The topic today is about God' love. Since the early morning hours as I said my prayers and read Scripture, and to the words that I have heard tonight, it has been all about God's love and how He loves us, how He is merciful and kind to us, and how He wants a personal relationship with each of us. Even in the story about Jonah and the whale, He wanted Jonah to go to Nineveh to preach to them for the repentance of their sins. Jonah didn't want to do it and he ran away from the Lord. God allowed him to be thrown overboard by the men on the ship and later a whale spewed Jonah up on the shore. Jonah then said that he would obey God. Jonah didn't want the people of Nineveh to repent, he wanted God to persecute them for the evil they had done to the Israelites. But God in His mercy and love, heard the repentance of the people for their sins. (Reference Book of Jonah) Even though God could have destroyed them, He forgave them because of His love and mercy. Everything that I have heard about today is about God's love, His mercy, His kindness and His grace.

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 18: 3 – 6: Praise the Lord! The danger of death was all around me; the waves of destruction rolled over me. The danger of death was around me, and the grave set its trap for me. In my trouble I called to the Lord; I called to my God for help. In His temple He heard my voice; He listened to my cry for help.

SCRIPTURE

Isaiah 54: 10: “ Though the mountains leave their place and the hills be shaken, My love shall never leave you nor My covenant of peace be shaken”, says the Lord, Who has mercy on you.

SUMMARY / SCRIPTURE

We have heard that in my trouble I call to the Lord. I call to my God for help, and God said, “My love is all you need.” In my trouble I call to the Lord and He said, “My love strengthens you.” In my trouble I call to the Lord and He said, “My love nourishes you.” In my trouble I call to the Lord and He said, “My love sustains you.” The Psalmist tells us, “I am always aware of the Lord's Presence; He is near, and nothing can shake me. So I am thankful and glad, and I feel completely secure, because You protect me from the power of death. You will show me the path that leads to life; Your Presence fills me with joy and brings me pleasure forever.” (Reference Psalm 16: 8 – 11) And God says, “My love is all that you need!” Tonight He took us one more step deeper than He has before, in learning about His love. He has not only told us, showed us and been compassionate and merciful to us, but He has named us tonight. He specifically mentioned our names, and He says, “My love is all you need!” From the Lord's heart to our hearts and ears, He wants us to know deep in our hearts the depth of His love for us, and we need to ponder that. Yes, He is a God of second chances and He has told us that. But I thank God that He is also a God of third, fourth, fifth or even a hundred chances as well because His love is all we need, if we just but believe.
