SCRIPTURE / PRAYER

Revelation 3:20 “ Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking. If anyone hears Me calling and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.” And so Lord, we do indeed hear You knocking and we want to answer that door, that You will come in and share our meal with us. We want to answer the door, Lord, as You knock and call us closer to You.

SCRIPTURE

This is Paul's prayer from the Letters to the Ephesians that I believe that he wants us to really listen to and know that our Father, praying through Jesus, prays for us. Ephesians 3:14-21: “ This then is what I pray, kneeling before the Father from Whom every family, whether spiritual or natural, takes its name. Out of His infinite glory may He grant you the power through His Spirit for your hidden self to grow strong, so that Christ may live in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. Thus you, with all the saints, will have the strength to grasp the breadth and the length and height and the depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses all knowledge, so that you may be filled with the fullness of God. Glory be to Him Whose power is working in us and can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine. Glory be to Him from generation to generation in the church and in Christ Jesus for ever and ever. Amen.”
