SCRIPTURE
As a family, the Lord has a message for us from 1 John 3:1: How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
EXHORTATION / SENSE
Every morning we need to remind ourselves that we are God's kids, and He is an awesome parent. Most parents want the best for their children and they go out of their way, and sacrifice for their children. Look what Jesus sacrificed – His very life – for us. We are so blessed to be the kids of our Father and we forget that; at least I do. We need to be reminded of that. Many times I will put different Scriptures on my mirror in the bathroom, to remind myself of this God, Who loves not only me, but each and every one of us; and to be reminded that I am His kid. He is the most awesome parent! I think reminding ourselves of being His children, His beloved children, is an important thing for us; it kind of starts our day and puts things in perspective and focus. When our own children come to us with a problem, we try to help them. God Who is so awesome, and knows what is he very best for us. I feel He wants us to be encouraged by that and to remind ourselves of that on a daily basis.
SCRIPTURE
Psalm 138:1-3: I will thanks to You, O Lord, with all my heart, for You have heard the words of my mouth; in the presence of the angels I will sing Your praise; I will worship at Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name, because of Your kindness and Your truth; for You have made great above all things Your name and Your promise. When I called, You answered me; You built up strength within me. Great is the glory of the Lord!
SCRIPTURE
Colossians 3:23: Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others.
SCRIPTURE
Ephesians 3:14-18: For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that He may grant you according to the riches of His glory to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the width, the length, and the depth and the height, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
SCRIPTURE
Ephesians 3:20-21: Now to Him Who is able to accomplish far more than all we ask or imagine , according to the power that works in us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
SCRIPTURE / PROPHECY
Mark 15:37-39: Then Jesus gave a loud cry and breathed his last. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. Now when the centurion who stood facing Him saw that in this way He breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was God's Son!” When that happened, the curtain to the Holy of Holies was taken away and because of what Jesus did for us, we can now, as it says in Hebrews (4:16), “approach the throne of grace with boldness that we might find mercy, and grace to help in time of need.” The Lord says to us tonight, “I have begun a new thing as I have promised. I have torn the curtain from top to bottom and I have invited you into the very presence, My very Presence, not as servants, but as My children. I have torn the curtain from top to bottom and I invite you in, to know Me, to know My love, to filled with that love, and to be light wherever you go.”
SCRIPTURE
1 John 4: 7-12: Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His One and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us, and His love is made complete in us.
PRAYER
Thank you God for Your complete love and for what You have done here tonight.
