INSPIRED WORD

JULY 5, 2006

SCRIPTURE

Isaiah 6: 6-8: Then one of the seraphs flew to me, holding a burning coal, which he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. He touched my lips with the burning coal and said, “Now that this has touched your lips, your guilt is gone and your sins are forgiven.” Then I heard the Lord say, “Whom shall I send? Whom will be My messenger?” And I answered,

“ I will go, send me.”

IMAGE

As we were sitting here praying, I received an image in my mind of somebody skydiving. A friend of mine went skydiving a couple years ago. Very clearly he remembered the instructor saying, “When we get to the level where we are going to have you jump, I will ask you, 'Are you ready to jump?' And you are going to say, 'Yes', and then we are going to jump.” That image kept coming to my mind and my heart, and I kept hearing, “Are you ready to jump?”

IMAGE

I had an incredibly beautiful image of acres of multi-colored flowers. The flowers were looking up to the skies. It began to lightly rain and the flowers were opening their mouths and holding out their tongues and letting the rain drop on their tongues. As it rained, the flowers were just thanking God. They were so full of gratitude for God's incredible blessings. The image just said to me that that is where God wants us to be – to always have the heart of gratitude.

CONFIRMATION / IMAGE

I have to confirm that – I have been sitting here with an image also of a field of flowers. What I saw was a little girl skipping through the beautiful field of flowers and the flowers were all opened wide. She was picking flowers and making a beautiful bouquet.

SCRIPTURE

I have had Psalm 23 in my heart since last week. The verse was screaming at me and I couldn't figure out which one it was until during the week when I was praying. “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in right paths for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

CONFIRMATION / IMAGE

This is another confirming image of a beautiful field. But my image is of a barbed wire fence and a beautiful song bird is sitting on the fence. It is just sitting there singing and singing.

SHARING

I just feel like all of those things are related. I feel like God is leading me to express gratitude for something that happened to us this week. My husband is a mountain climber and he wanted to climb a mountain over the July 4 th weekend. He went with two other friends. You have to climb Mount Milwaukee to get to the peak that they were going to climb. It is not a “fourteener”; my husband is very experienced and he climbed all of the “fourteeners”. They climbed to the top of Mount Milwaukee and were trying to determine what route they were going to take as none of the books said anything special. It just said, “go up the grassy route.” But they saw that the only way possible was to go past this fairly shear wall. It wasn't really steep, but if you fell, the fall was long. My husband said that he just didn't feel right about it because they didn't bring rock climbing equipment and it just didn't look or feel right. He and his two friends decided to skip it and they started going back down the gully. In the process, there were two other men going up who were going to climb the same mountain. One of my husband's friends decided to go up with these two men. As my husband and the other friend were walking down the gully, they heard a terrible scream. That man had fallen off of that 5-5 pitch and was killed. My husband and his friend turned around and they could see the other two guys still up there, but these guys couldn't get down because it was so steep. They had to finish going up and climb around the mountain to get to the fallen man, but it was too late. But you can imagine the gratitude that my husband and his friend had; they were all shook up. They couldn't believe that something had given them the wisdom not to go on up the mountain. I just feel like I was to share this gratitude.

SCRIPTURE

I was inspired to read part of Jonah 2:4-5, 8-10: – this is about Jonah inside the whale. “For You cast me into the deep, into the heart of the sea, and the flood enveloped me; all Your breakers and Your billows passed over me. Then I said, 'I am banished from Your sight! Yet would I again look upon Your holy temple.' When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the Lord; my prayer reached You in Your holy temple. Those who worship vain idols forsake their source of mercy. But I, with resounding praise, will sacrifice to You; what I vowed I will pay. Deliverance belongs to the Lord!”

SCRIPTURE

The Lord has always spoken to me through the word “hope.” More than once He has brought Scriptures to my mind about hope. Isaiah 40:31: B ut those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

IMAGE / PROPHECY

Tonight I saw eagles. I saw every kind imaginable. The Lord gave me this phrase: “a gathering of eagles.” He told me to say, “Tell My people that I am making this place into a gathering of eagles.” The eagle is representative of the Spirit of God and He was impressing upon me to say, “Declare this to be a place where the eagles gather. This is the eagles of the Spirit of God.” As we walk forward into His Presence and be open to His Spirit, He will transform us and accomplish His purposes through us

CONFIRMATION / PROPHECY

I can really confirm what you have said. What the Lord has prompted me to share is that we are going to be transformed. It is not about us or anything good about us that makes Him work in power through us. You may be sitting there saying, “God, I am just not praying enough, not holy enough.” But God is saying, “I love you as you are, and I will use you as you are. There is nothing that you need to be, because I can provide it all.”

SCRIPTURE

There is a couple of Scriptures that the Lord brought to me. Amos 3:7: “Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.” I am very blessed by this because this is how much the Lord loves us. He never goes forwards with His plans without revealing them to us. That is part of the imagery, the visions, that we have. We may not understand it at that time, but He will either gather a group of people together or a friend and then then the Holy Spirit will began to put the pieces together for us. The second Scripture is: 1 Peter 1:24: “All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of the Lord stands forever.” The grass represents believers of all nations. This is also confirmed in: Isaiah

40: 6: “ All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field.”

WORD OF KNOWLEDGE

There is someone here who is really upset, it is like they are not trusting God. They are really scared about something. God just wants you to know that it is going to be okay and that He is going to be there for you.

CONFIRMATION / SCRIIPTURE

I confirm that. The Scripture that came to me was the one where the Lord Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who are heavily burdened and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)

SENSE

I am getting a very strong sense that something is going to happen very soon.

SCRIPTURE

I think this connects with all of this as well, from Psalm 51:10,12: Create in me a pure heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.

SENSE

I just got this strong sense now that somewhere a wall came tumbling down.

CONFIRMATION / PROPHECY

I would like to confirm that. The thing that I actually felt in my heart, while we were singing, is that when the King came riding into the city, there was this moment of jubilation, the moment of “your day has come”, the days of tyranny are past, the days of mourning are past, the days of sorrow are past, and your best is yet to come. God is saying, “I am getting ready to move you into a new season; I am getting ready to push you forward,” There are some people who are literally being pushed out of your comfort zones and that is okay, because the King has come into town!!

CONFIRMATION

I also have a confirmation. As Joe was coming up to tell us what he was sensing, I got this song in my head, “The Walls Will Come Down With a Shout of Praise.”

CONFIRMATION / SCRIIPTURE

This is another confirmation, but only in Scripture. Psalm 97:5-6: The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.

IMAGE / EXHORTATION

All of those things pointed at power, that stick of dynamite. The image I have now is that some of us have brought our stick of dynamite and we are sitting on it. It really is not a comfortable place, whether you are putting it under your feet or trying to hide it. Those walls don't come down when you are sitting on your dynamite. From my own experience, I just ask you to hold up your stick of dynamite in whatever way God is asking you, whatever it is. Because going home, after you have been sitting on your stick of dynamite, is a very empty feeling.

EXHORTATION

Arise, you who slumber! Open your eyes! Come fill your spirit with the Lord's gifts. Come and open your hearts! Open your hearts and let Him in!

SHARING / PROPHECY

When I was about 7 years old, I grew up on a farm and I was walking in a field. I don't know why, but I started saying, “God is not really that great. He really can't do all those things. If God was really strong, He could take our farm house and move it right now, but He can't do that.” As I walked, I was afraid to turn around because if He moved it, what was I going to say to my parents. And the Lord brought these words to me: “Why do you sit here and ask Me to show you My power, My strength, My glory, and then you close your eyes and heart to Me. Are you afraid that I am that strong? Open your heart, open your eyes, and see what I will do for you. I will not harm you because I love you.”

PROPHECY

My beloved dear people, I told you that I would re-create you tonight and make something new. Here is how I will do it: first, I will tear down walls, rocks of f ear, guilt, depression, illness, and many other bad things will come tumbling down. And when they do, you will find at the base that you do have the cornerstone. The cornerstone is Jesus Christ, My Son. On that rock, I will build a new wall. That wall will contain faith, hope, love, and all the spiritual gifts that I gave to you. I am re-creating!

WORD OF KNOWLEDGE

I just have a sense that someone here is still not wanting their wall to come down. Just trust in God, He is going to tear it down for you. He is going to take every single pain and wash it away. He is there for you and He hasn't forgotten you.

CONFIRMATION

In confirming that, from Romans 8 (14-17) For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, “Abba! Father!”, it is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.

SENSE / SCRIIPTURE

As we were singing the song and sang the word “Jesus”, all of a sudden I had this feeling that I needed to bow down. And these words came to me: “Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” (Romans 14:11)

CONFIRMATION / SCRIIPTURE

I also have a confirming Scripture of Mel's words and Laura's words. Jeremiah 29:11-14: “For I know well the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. And I will change your life.”

SCRIIPTURE

For as much as what the Lord loves us, and that we love Him, I feel it necessary to read this. Isaiah 53:4-6: Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God., smitten by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
