SCRIPTURE

Psalm 100: Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with singing. Know that the Lord is God. It is He Who has made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting and His faithfulness continues for all generations.

TEACHING

When we praise God, we focus our eyes on Him and we stop looking at our circumstances for a few moments, all of a sudden our faces are transformed into the reflection of God and the shape of our lives starts to be transformed. We don't come to God with answers; we come to God for the answers, so that His answers become a part of who we are. That is the gift of grace; it is a transforming grace and it starts with praise. It starts by looking outside of ourselves at He Who is in us. In that exchange, that relationship, as we look at Him and He looks at us, and as He becomes a bigger part of us through our Baptism, through our faith, through the life of the Spirit in us, it brings us to look more deeply at Him. Before we know it, we are transformed from glory to glory and that is why we come and why we gather here. It is all about the Lord.

PROPHECY / SENSE

“Make room for all that I want to give you. “ The sense that I got was: allow the Lord to reach into you, the vessel, and just take out all of those marbles, the pain, the pride, the embarrassment, the concerns, and the worries. Those are all of the marbles that fill us up. The Lord is saying, “Let Me take those marbles out of you. Then there will be more room in you for all that I want to give you.”

PRAYER

O God, You take us by the hand and lift us up. O Jesus, You give us Your strength, You guide us, You protect us, You lead us. Lord, help us just to give all that we have to You, all of our plans, all of our aspirations, all of the good and all of the hurts. Jesus, take them! We place them into Your hands of love. Jesus, Jesus! We trust in You, Jesus! We love You! We love You, Lord!

PROPHECY

I love you; I love you with such an everlasting love. I seek you, I touch you. Nothing you can do can separate you from My love if you have chosen Me. In My Word, it says, “My people die for lack of knowledge.” I want to speak to you tonight about something you may have forgotten or may not have known. It is the power in your mind; it is the power of your tongue. I am a creative God, I am a positive God, I am a God of truth, I am a God of promise. When you allow yourself to speak negatively, when you allow yourself, by your mind or your tongue, to beat yourself or others down, when you allow yourself to go with the circumstances of life and say things like: “This is the way it is going to be, it is never going to change”; things like that, My people, are death to you and death to others! For I say to you, as you have sung to Me, “with every breath I will worship You”, how can you use that same breath and speak death to yourselves and death to others with negativity? I ask you, as it says in My word, “Put a watch over the door of my lips”. Pray that, My people, pray that I would put a watch over the door of your lips, your thoughts and your mind, and replace that negativity, that speaking of death to yourselves or others. You would be amazed at what is going to start to happen, for I take the negativity in your life and then you speak with life and truth, that is what I give you. That is what I want to give you. Do not put the stumbling blocks in front of Me; ask Me to remove it, ask Me to put a check in your Spirit about this. Ask Me! For the greatest gift that I want to give you is the desire of your hearts. Don't speak against that desire! Don't speak this: “God does this for this one, but I am not worthy of that. He is not going to do that for me!” Oh, but I am!! It is in My will to give you ALL that is joyful, ALL that is positive and even when things are not going the way you had hoped, speak life over that! Speak My love over that! Do not let the devil deceive you by the circumstances; turn it on him and speak My truth! Speak My truth!!

PROPHECY

Your words, your prayers, and your voices are music to My ears! I love being with you, hearing from you; I want to be close to you! Open your hearts, I am there for you always! I will comfort you, I will guide you, I will love you. You are My beloved! My precious children, I am your Father, trust Me! Just let Me love you! Open your eyes, open your ears, open your hearts; I love you!

TEACHING / SCRIPTURE

He is from Whom all help comes. He helps us in all of our troubles so that we are able to help others who have all kinds of troubles. We use the same help that we ourselves have received from God. From such terrible dangers of death He saved us and will save us, and we have placed our hope in Him, and He will save us again, as you help us by your means of your prayers for us. 1 Corinthians 2: 1 – 5: When I came to you, my friends, to preach God's sacred truth, I did not use big words and great learning. For while I was with you, I made up my mind to forget everything except Jesus Christ and especially His death on the cross. So when I came to you I was weak and trembled all over with fear. My teaching and my message were not delivered with skillful words and human wisdom, but with convincing proof of the power of God's Spirit. Your faith then does not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power.

PROPHECY

Come before Me with the faith of a little child, totally!

CONFIRMATION

I just want to confirm what Dan just said because I just keep getting this image of the Magi.

I found and read through the story in Scripture. I just have this image of the Magi and I am not a theologian, so I don't know all of the ins and outs of the history. But I see these three men who don't even know each other, all from different backgrounds, and they bump into each other because they all read a prophecy about a star. They know that a wonderful great thing is going to happen; they know that there is going to be the King of kings, and they just drop everything in their life and get on their camels and they go toward this star. That is the image that I keep getting and I don't know what it means. It is like the faith of a child. We drop everything and run for the Lord; we keep our eyes on Him, like they kept their eyes on that star. We don't know what we are going to find. I imagine they thought that they were going to find a grown man when they got there, not a baby. We don't know what we will find, but we just know that we need to keep our eyes on the Lord. That is the path to follow!

CONFIRMATION

I want to confirm both of those because the word that I kept getting was “trust”. Like a child trusts his parents to take care of him, we need to trust in God. The wise men trusted their instincts, the prophecies, and they went forth too.

PROPHECY

I am your Rock, I am your Fortress, I am your Strength, I am your Shield, I am your Hope, I am your Joy, and I am your Salvation. There is victory in Me!

SCRIPTURE

How about the gifts of Advent? All of those that Ray told us about, the ones that have been spoken about tonight, the promises that have been made to us. When Ray was speaking I thought of this Scripture in Daniel and it has stayed with me all night. I think we can put our own names in this Scripture. Daniel 10: 10 – 12: The angel Gabriel comes to Daniel and Daniel is flat on his face; he is afraid because of the glory of Gabriel. Then Daniel says, “But then a hand touched me and roused me to my hands and knees. He said to me, “Daniel, greatly beloved, pay attention to the words that I am going to speak to you. Stand on your feet, for I have now been sent to you. So while he was speaking this word to me, I stood up trembling. He said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel”, (or we can put our own name in this area), “do not fear, for from the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.” From the first day that we humbled ourselves and asked to seek knowledge of God, our words have been heard. He has already come in answer to that prayer. Isn't that good news? Isn't that wonderful news?
